    Hi Gary!

    This is a great idea! Unfortunately we haven’t implemented that feature quite yet.

    If you have a moment, we’d love for you to submit your idea to our UserVoice forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases.

    Here is a relevant UserVoice post >> https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/4291175-make-it-possible-to-print-calendar-as-pdf

    Let me know if there is anything else I can answer!

    Thanks!

    Hello artworkcreative,

    Thanks for contacting us! That is taking a long time to load.

    I noticed some sluggishness on the ‘list view’ too, especially when clicking to more events.

    It might be an errant script. This might be possibly caused by theme or plugin conflict, or just a bug on our side (although, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it take this long). My guess is simply the amount of events you have might be slowing the server.

    Has this been a consistent problem, or has it been intermittent? It would be good to know if there is a pattern. Typically we like to reproduce problems on our end, but I’m not sure that will work in this case.

    In the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?

    Does this make sense? I’m sure we can get you up and running soon!

    Cheers!

    Hello fcc28,

    Thanks for contacting us. I haven’t heard this problem yet. Could you expand on this part?

     trouble with adding events for repeat for the week, or month

    Do you mean on a recurring event, the following events are off by a specific time? Have you noticed a specific pattern?

    Could you link to a specific event? I’d like to see it.

    Other than that, could I get some more details? It will help if I can reproduce the problem from this end. Could I get the answer to these questions?

    – In the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?
    – Are you using latest versions, The Events Calendar 3.5.1 and The Events Calendar Pro 3.5.2? Since you just upgraded I’m assuming you are, but it is worth checking.

    Does this make sense? I’m sure we can get you up and running soon!

    Cheers!

    Hello gendalldesign,

    Absolutely! In the Product Editor in WooCommerce (not The Events Calendar), set the ‘Catalog Visibility’ to Catalog or better to make it show up in the store! You’ll find it in the ‘Publish’ box in the upper right.

    Hello azagency!

    Congrats on upgrading! Once we get this sorted out I’m sure you’ll love it. 😀

    Displaying the time depends on how you would like to display it.

    First, it might be helpful to check out our primers. They’re quick videos that will bring you up to speed quickly.

    Other than that, could I get some more details? It will help if I can reproduce the functionality from this end. For example as this image shows, the event popup has the time.

    How would you like to list the time in month view, next to the item, without hovering?

    Does this make sense? I’m sure we can get you up and running soon!

    Cheers!

    Hi Elly!

    Congrats on upgrading! Once we get this sorted out I’m sure you’ll love it. 😀

    Sorry you’re experiencing this right from the start! A few things could be at play here.

    First, it might be helpful to check out our primers. They’re quick videos that will bring you up to speed quickly. Especially this recurring events video; it might have the answers you’re looking for.

    Other than that, could I get some more details? It will help if I can reproduce the problem from this end.

    It would help to get some more info too. Could I get the answer to these questions?

    – Do you have a public link I can link I can look at?
    – In the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?
    – Are you using latest versions, The Events Calendar 3.5.1 and The Events Calendar Pro 3.5.2? Since you just upgraded I’m assuming you are, but it is worth checking.

    Hello amphoraarts!

    The Events Calendar Pro has a number of available views, including a ‘week’ view like the example you gave. Our demo website, wpshindig, has all the views available.

    Hello angoddard!

    Thanks for contacting us. After talking to the support team, we think this functionality would break core/paradigm functionality. For example, if there was a “Paul McCartney” event in both April and in July, which event/month should it show?

    The month view is built to be centered on the currently shown month, one month at a time. So functionality right now is to simply say ‘that event doesn’t exist in *this* month’.

    You probably want another view for the search results you are describing, like ‘List’ view. We think you could cut up some javascript to change the view when the user clicks ‘Find Events’. This may get complicated pretty quickly though. Under what circumstances should the view change? If there are no results at all? Or only if there are no events for this month? For all events?

    Unfortunately that level of customization goes beyond the scope of the forums. If you check out our Themer’s Guide, you could maybe make a template override to display what you want, but not without some serious effort.

    Does this make sense? Sorry I hope it doesn’t seem like I’m making excuses! The scope of your request is just too far out of what the current core can do (and what we intended to do).

    If you’re having a problem that still needs fixing, feel free to reply! Perhaps by rethinking the issue a solution may appear that fits within the scope of the plugin. We’d be happy to help where we can!

    Cheers!

    Sorry for the confusion, jouvertrecords.

    If you open your theme’s functions.php file and add these lines at the top (right below the <?php line), it should go away.

    add_action('tribe_events_before_template', 'remove_ical_from_list_view');

    function remove_ical_from_list_view() {
    if (tribe_is_event_query() && tribe_is_list_view())
    remove_filter('tribe_events_after_footer', array('TribeiCal', 'maybe_add_link'), 10, 1);
    }

    Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Yep, looks like you just upgraded in January!

    It is saying my key is expired on my site,

    Can you tell me more specifically where it says that? If it won’t go away you can just disconnect and reconnect the licenses at https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/license-keys/.

    You can safely remove the old Pro plugin and upload the new one through cpanel or ftp. Our plugin doesn’t remove data from the database. You would have to purposefully remove the event entries. Of course, it is good to have a back up anyways, as any other thing could go wrong. But The Events Calendar doesn’t remove data when it is deactivated, some other plugins do.

    Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Hello aalmon,

    Thanks for contacting us! You have a theme or plugin conflict that is making the js error out.

    2014-04-28 at 12.26 PM

    We have two standard ways of troubleshooting this:

    – Can you privately reply with the ‘system info’ from the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab in your WP-Admin?
    – Can you confirm that you disabled all plugins and changed your theme to a standard theme like Twentytwelve? Please let us know if the error happens with this vanilla set up. Then activate each plugin, checking the problem each time. When the feature breaks again, we know where the conflict is.

    Ultimately I think the theme is the problem, as the js cannot find the ‘innerHTML’ of the object it’s trying to append the popup to.

    Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!

    I also wanted to add, please make sure you have a recent backup of your site before you start! I’m assuming nothing bad will happen, but better to be safe than sorry.

    Upgrading from 3.4 to 3.5 was difficult for some people. Updating directly to 3.5.2 should be painless for all users though.

    Hello giggsbda,

    The Events Calendar, the free plugin available on wordpress.org, is currently at version 3.5.1 and you can download it from within the admin.

    The Events Calendar Pro, the paid plugin available only on our website, is currently at version 3.5.2. It is best to update directly to 3.5.2.

    As long as your key is not expired, you should be able to download all versions at https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/. Be sure to grab the current version (it’s default).
