Hi guys
We’re running a festival with about 60 events happening over four days. At the moment we are just displaying events sequentially (ausnzfestival.com/events) – but I’d love to be able to also offer a grid / timetable-type kind of view, like they do here: http://tickets.emirateslitfest.com/programme-schedule.aspx?SectionFilterID=24. Is there the functionality or a plugin available that can make that possible, or a shortcut I can suggest to our developers?
Any help offered would be amazing!

The Events Calendar Pro has a number of available views, including a ‘week’ view like the example you gave. Our demo website, wpshindig, has all the views available.

Hi Casey… all makes sense, but the week view in the example you sent makes it very hard to see events side-by-side when we will have anywhere from 2-5 events running at anyone time.
In the link I sent, you will see that it’s possible to have a “week-style” kind of view, but each “day” is more like a session strand?
Is there a configuration I can suggest to our developers which might make use of the week view tools but be more clearly displayed?

Oh I see! I was looking at it wrong. It’s like a daily agenda with multiple sections per hour.
Nothing we have ships with that view, but we have a templating structure to help build such a view.
This plugin will offer your developers a great starting point.

That plugin in conjunction with our Themer’s Guide, you could probably make a template override to display what you want.
