MemberHello folsomstevents,
Thanks for the update. I think you’re right, I’ll talk to the devs to see if we can get you a short term fix. I think is probably caused by a wp_reset_query at the end of the plugin, but not sure.
For documentation sake here is a screenshot of the fixed front page with the plugin deactivated.

MemberAs a follow up, it looks like someone added a few rules to the bottom of your theme’s css file.
http://www.creatingarts.org/wp-content/themes/Karma/style.css?ver=3.9
If you delete the woocommerce specific ones it should be fixed. You may want to investigate why they are put there.
We are assuming someone put them there after purchase. We don’t believe the Karma Theme developer put them there prior to shipping, but who knows!

MemberHello teskinner,
Thanks for the link. By overwriting the css I was able to fix the problem. Two lines setting the width of the cell seem to be the problem. Not sure if it is a bug on our side, will check with our devs.
– What theme are you using?
– Do you know how to override this css on your own?Cheers!

MemberHello revmsg,
Thanks for the info. Could I please get a list of plugins activated and your theme too?
I’m looking to untangle the information here, so a few of my questions might seem redundant, sorry about that. We haven’t run into a problem quite like this yet.
When you tried rolling back to 3.5.1, you got this error:
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘lib/tribeeventspro-schemaupdater.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear’) in /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/events-calendar-pro.php on line 68This is a peculiar error that should not really happen under normal circumstances. Can you confirm that the file it is looking for is actually there? If the file is there it shouldn’t 500 error out. Should be something like:
/path/to/site/root/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/lib/tribeeventspro-schemaupdater.phpAfter talking with our devs they are really not sure why ‘filter_canonical_link_on_recurring_events’ is causing 301 redirect problems. Can you confirm the problem still exists (with 3.5.2) with all other plugins deactivated and the theme set to twentytwelve?
Seems like you were pretty active in figuring out solutions. If the situation has changed at all over the weekend feel free to give me an update!
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
Cheers!

MemberHey mburrell,
I would contact Hostgator as I’m not sure we’ll be able to help much with this.
memory_limit 64M 64M
If you are using a shared account (which seems like it is), scripts can run into problems with low memory ceilings. I would contact Hostgator and see if they can raise the max to 128 or even higher.
If you are running multiple installs on one shared instance, I would consider upgrading to a more robust configuration.
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!
Cheers!

MemberHello farleym,
This unfortunately doesn’t seem to be a standard problem that we’ve run into and it seems difficult to reproduce.
To clarify:
When you create a new event, every content field goes blank, but the title remains and a new entry appears on the Events page in WP-Admin. When you open the new empty event in the backend, there is no content in it. When you try to open the new empty event in the front end, it only gives you a 404.
This exact situation also happens on a previously made event, when you edit/update that event.
To confirm, are you using %postname% permalinks, and can you try resaving them one more time?
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!
Cheers!

May 5, 2014 at 8:32 am in reply to: jQuery Vertical Accordion Menu defaults to open on Events page #150358Casey D
MemberHello niki_sebi,
I’m afraid we won’t be able to offer much support on this. The jQuery accordion plugin hasn’t been updated in nearly two years and there are quite a few other conflicts.
I would look into one of the many other jQuery accordion plugins, or consider another menu implementation, with less dependencies on javascript.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
Cheers!

MemberHello valerie2776,
After talking to the devs it looks like this is a known bug. We are actively working on a patch and hope to have it released soon.
Thanks for your patience. We’ll update this thread when the patch is released.

MemberHello Eric,
Once you get to the cart, it is in the domain of WooCommerce only. I’m sure it is possible, as it is all just data, but it is beyond the scope of the forums and knowledge.
I would recommend manually adding that information to the product title, if the events are all very similar.
Cheers!
