ParticipantNot sure if this is a customization or a bug, but the jQuery Menu Accordion Menu plugin defaults to open on Events pages, but is closed on all other pages (as expected). If it is a customization, guidance on achieving the fix would be appreciated. Thank you.

MemberHello niki_sebi,
Thanks for contacting us, sorry you are experiencing this!
It seems you are having some js errors and conflicts on that page. If you open up the js console on the /events page, you will see this:
Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function bootstrap-datepicker.js?ver=3.2:1593 Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function tribe-events.min.js?ver=3.5.1:15
In the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?
If you can get back to me on this stuff I can get you back up and running!
Cheers!

MemberHello niki_sebi,
Thanks for posting your info. Unfortunately most of our team is out today so I’m not sure I’ll be able to get you a solid answer today. Maybe closer to Tuesday, sadly.
I believe there is some sort of javascript conflict with http://wordpress.org/plugins/jquery-vertical-accordion-menu/, but I’m not sure if it is fixable yet.
The menu appears ‘open’ because javascript is completely failing on the events page, so the menu never closes. I’ll get in contact with our devs and report back soon.
Thanks for your patience!

MemberHello niki_sebi,
I’m afraid we won’t be able to offer much support on this. The jQuery accordion plugin hasn’t been updated in nearly two years and there are quite a few other conflicts.
I would look into one of the many other jQuery accordion plugins, or consider another menu implementation, with less dependencies on javascript.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
Cheers!
