Hello– we are interested in purchasing Woo Tickets and Event Calendar Pro, however I don’t see anyway to have the event information (as inputted in Event Calendar) to appear in the ticket itself using Woo Tickets. We sell tickets to events that the customer needs to know ALL of the info about the event (date, time, location, etc.) and that needs to be included on their ticket, email receipt, etc. instead of just a ticket title. Can this be done – auto include the event information with tickets available for purchase for each event so the customer has all of that associated with the woo ticket ‘product’ itself when checking out and anywhere their ticket/product is mentioned?? Thank you!

    Hello Eric,

Thanks for contacting us! By default, all of that information is in the WooCommerce Ticket email. Here is a screenshot from the fake event I created and ‘bought’ on my local system.

If you check out our Themer’s Guide, you could make a template override to display any additional information you want in the email. Check out the email view templates under WooCommerce Tickets (Ticketing Plugins). https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/#viewstemplates

Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!

    Cheers!

Thank you. I see that it’s in the email, but looking at the Woo Commerce orders, seeing the order summary email Woo sends and during the final checkout stages, all that is shown is the name of the ticket we manually put in. Can the ticket name or description or “product attributes” be used to auto include all of the event’s info (date, time, location)? This is really a make or break thing for us as we need our attendees to see that information since all of our tickets will pretty much have the same name; what differentiates them is only the date, time, and location. Thank you.

    Hello Eric,

Once you get to the cart, it is in the domain of WooCommerce only. I’m sure it is possible, as it is all just data, but it is beyond the scope of the forums and knowledge.

I would recommend manually adding that information to the product title, if the events are all very similar.

    Cheers!
