    Hello dlishdesign,

    Thanks for contacting us!

What theme are you using? Is this a special theme builder that is breaking or the built in widget/theme builder in WordPress?

We can’t guarantee interoperability with every theme, but we do our best to be compatible with the most popular themes, especially those over 100,000 downloads.

I’d like to be able to reproduce the problem. If you could get me a screenshot of the problem and the theme you are using, that’d be great!

    Cheers!

    Hello dlishdesign,

Sorry for the confusion! I believe the intent of that feature is just what it says, remove it from the listings. The event is still available by URL (so it is not private), but it is not available on the lists of events.

I’m not sure there is a simple out of the box way to achieve what you would like. I would suggest creating a category of events you want this special filtering on, and then use theme override’s to accomplish what you want. You’ll have to change up the query to ignore that category on your selected pages.

If you check out our Themer’s Guide, you could probably make a template override to display what you want.

If you have a moment, we’d love for you to submit your idea to our UserVoice forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases.

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Hello Nicki,

Sorry there is no way to show that graphically for now.

WooCommerce Tickets does have the ability to create multiple tickets per event. You can easily create different ticket prices by zone or type (VIP, General Admission, etc).

However, without some serious customization, you won’t be able to show a seating chart and have attendees pick with that.

Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!

    Cheers!

    Hello adebehe2002,

Thanks for contacting us! I believe if you check your Events Settings > “Recurring event instances” setting, it will be checked.

Uncheck that and they should all appear again.

    Hello eastbayaa,

You can safely deactivate our plugins. All of your event and setting data will be saved in your database still.

Of course, it is a best practice to have a constant back up. If you are worried about losing data in any capacity: Please make sure you have a recent backup of your site before you start! I’m assuming nothing bad will happen, but better to be safe than sorry.

Back Up WordPress is a great free plugin for this.

    Hello adelie,

What versions are your running of all your current plugins? In the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?

You might want to manually remove your Events Calendar plugins and add fresh new current versions.

    Hello Jeff,

Technically the plugins will work just fine with a single install. We just ask that users purchase the appropriate license, especially if there will be a large number of support questions.

Since your site is under one umbrella, you should probably be fine with a single license.

    Hello mtbethel,

    Thanks for contacting us.

This is unusual behavior. Out of the box, it should redirect to /all.

Could I get a specific link to where this is happening?

Can you please confirm that after executing these combined steps in order, the problem still exists?

    1. Deactivate ALL plugins
    2. Change theme to TwentytwelveTwentythirteen or Twentyfourteen
    3. Activate The Events Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro
    4. Save your permalinks in WP-Admin > Settings > Permalinks

    Cheers!

    Hello tftuser,

As far as I know, there should be no reason why the theme would switch without a change.

If you changed the theme it would switch back, but I believe that is the only reason.

    Hope that helps!

    Hello mggillespie,

We don’t have an official response for that, but just about any WordPress caching plugin will speed up our system too.

    Hello mggillespie,

Thanks for contacting us! From what I can tell, the date and time is rendered, but hidden. For some reason in your theme, ‘.updated’ classes have a display: none; style. If you remove that they will show up.

    Hello dupontgroupnh,

Sorry you are dealing with this frustration, thanks for contacting us!

Can you give me more specifics as to what is happening, or where it is going wrong?

You should be able to download the ‘iCal’ .ics file from the event and then import that into Outlook with really no problems. Are you getting other results?

Let me know what I can do to help!

    Hello realmwebdesign,

Thanks for contacting us! This thread should give you enough info.

If you check out our Themer’s Guide, you could probably make a template override to display what you want. Then just add in the custom venue url (or any other url you need). Events are a custom post type just like any other, so get_the_permalink() should work for those as well.

    Hello affariproject,

    Thanks for contacting us.

This may be a bug, depending on your system. (I haven’t heard about from anywhere else yet though).

Could I get a link to your sites with the problem? I’d like to be able to reproduce the problem if I can, to pinpoint the issue.

    Cheers!
