if I deactivate to troubleshoot will I lose all settings?

I’m having an issue on one of my pages, and the Weaver (my theme) support folks have instructed me to deactivate all plug-ins to see if the issue goes away. I’m worried I will lose all my settings and am wondering if they’ll still be there upon reactivation. I’m currently using Events Calendar, Calendar Pro, and Filter Bar.

Can you please advise? Thanks!

Hello eastbayaa,

You can safely deactivate our plugins. All of your event and setting data will be saved in your database still.

Of course, it is a best practice to have a constant back up. If you are worried about losing data in any capacity: Please make sure you have a recent backup of your site before you start! I’m assuming nothing bad will happen, but better to be safe than sorry.

Back Up WordPress is a great free plugin for this.
