ParticipantHowdy Joe,
That is correct. In order for an event to have an address it must have a venue. However, you can mass import venues as CSVs. If you wish to import an event without an address for now, that is also possible. Just leave the venue field blank, then come back and add it later once it does have an address.
If you need further support checkout WordPress.org: The Events Calendar. That forums is where we and a community of volunteers provide free support for the basic plugin. This forum is for pre-sales questions only.
Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy Rob!
I am happy to help you with that. I don’t know what Timezone you’re in, but hopefully we can help you meet that deadline.
Your site is currently timing out/offline. I was unable to glean any extra information from it. But, Ajax issues like that often happen because of CORS or a security policy. Do you have subdomains or multiple domains? If so have you setup CORS for your domains? If not, is there anything on your server that might block access to the /wp-admin/ pages? If so, can you disable any configuration or whatever you have setup to prevent access? WordPress’ builtin user login is usually quite sufficient. Usually when people add security layers to it they break admin-ajax.php, which resides in the /wp-admin/ folder. This file must be accessible by all parties whether they are logged in or not, and by default WordPress makes that way. If it’s not, then WordPress’ Ajax API will be broken and unresponsive.
Does that all make sense? Are you able to find the issue?
Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy Carlos,
I would love to help you with that.
Once you have reached the cart page you are fully in WooCommerce’s world. Any generic WooCommerce tutorial will apply, the events are just regular products in your Woo cart.
I found this plugin on Google that helps add text to Woo pages. Aside from that you could likely create a Woo theme override like this guide outlines.
Would one of those options work? I wish I knew more about customizing Woo itself. I know next to everything about WooCommerce Tickets, but since I did not help write the main WooCommerce I am less of an expert.
Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy Greg,
Thanks for sharing your system information! I think that revealed the culprit. You are running Community Events 3.9.1, but the calendar is 3.10.1. Because of this mismatch errors will occur. If you simply update Community you should be running strong! Does that work?
Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy Martin!
That is definitely possible with our iCal importer, which is currently in Beta. You could export events from your Outlook calendar as ical files, and import them with that plugin. Would you like for us to notify you when that plugin is ready for prime time?
Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy Deb,
I would love to help you with that.
That sounds like a probable conflict. In order to proceed we will need to test if a “conflict” is happening, and if so narrow it down so we can find a fix for it. This guide walks you through how to test for a conflict, and then identify what is conflicting.
Are you able to find a conflict?
Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy Jim!
I would love to help you with that.
1. I would like to be able to add some common (same) text to appear above the search bar for each of the archive views (list, month, photo, etc.) but not on single events. Is there a single template that can be customized for this purpose, or an available hook? Or do I have to customize multiple templates?
There is a hook called ‘tribe_events_before_html’, and even a setting on the backend that allows you to input HTML content to appear on every page. You can detect if it is a single events page by using is_single(). This snippet is for hiding the tribe_events_after_html hook on various pages, and can be easily adapted.

2. I would like to relocate “tribe-events-sub-nav” to a location further up the page (above (or below) search bar) and possibly customize the link text (e.g. from “<< August // September >>”) for archives and single events.
Absolutely possible. Checkout the Themer’s Guide for more information on our templates. They are pretty logically layed out, once you see the guide it will likely make a lot of sense. But if I can expound on anything please let me know.
3. The Hooks link from the Support page only leads to a search widget :(.
Thanks for reporting that. The hooks section is an upcoming one for our site. Where did you find a live link to it? If I know I’d love to remove it. It’s not ready yet hence the issue.
Does that all make sense? Will that work for you? Please let us know.
Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy Oliver,
I am sorry that is giving you trouble. Fortunately correcting this is super easy. Checkout this guide on how to fix this problem, it should only take a couple of minutes.

ParticipantHowdy Luc,
I would love to help you with that.
Actually this might even be easier than you think. Nico’s instructions would work without needing any adaptation for Events Calendar Pro. Nico said you could look in ‘\wp-content\plugins\the-events-calendar\views\’ for the list folder. Even when you are running Events Calendar Pro, the list folder can still be found in the “Core” The Events Calendar plugin folder, exactly where Nico said. So you can follow Nico’s instructions on where to find things without needing to substitute or change a thing.
Knowing that, are you able to get this customization rolling? Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy guys,
Absolutely they can. They can select a png, jpg, or gif as the featured image for an event. If needed this can be disabled.
Would that work for your needs?

ParticipantHowdy Tim,
I am happy to hear it is mostly working for you. Have you tried changing the global title constant? That might be a long shot, but worth it in any case.
If you need help figuring this out please open up a topic on WordPress.org: The Events Calendar where we and a community of volunteers support the free Core plugin. This particular forum is only for questions about our paid addons.
Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy Kathryn,
Thanks for reaching out. I would love to help answer your questions.
Could you elaborate on what you would need to publish an agenda? Most of the time when people have an event with an agenda, they put the agenda in the event description. Would that work for you? If not, how are you picturing this agenda would look and work?
Cheers!

ParticipantHowdy Claghorn,
Thanks for the screenshot. I see what’s going on. You have added too many columns to your WordPress Post Types. WordPress offers you the ability to disable some of them. Revisit any page with WordPress Admin in which you are seeing things get scrunched together too much, and click the button in the upper right called “Screen Options”. Use the Screen options screen to hide any columns you do not need, then hit save. When you do it will remove those columns from the view and free up some space.
Does that all make sense? Will that work for you? Please let us know.
Cheers!
