    Howdy Adam,

We will very likely see that in the next couple of weeks. We are doing our final QA pass right now. If no blockers are discovered then it could ship as early as Tuesday.

Hey Erika, usually it should be pasted at the top of your theme’s functions.php file. Since that snippet includes the “<?php” tag on the first line, just replace the first line “<?php” in your current theme’s functions files with the entire snippet. Does it work now? If you need further assistance, would you mind opening a new topic? We strive to keep all of our topics limited to one user’s problem.

    Cheers!

Ahhh yes. I am happy you thought of that. That makes sense.

There is unfortunately no user role for just approving checkins. Whoever is doing checkins will need access to the full events are on your website.

One thing I should mention, in this forum we usually strive to keep our topics focused on a single issue, the one you had when you opened the topic. This helps keep things organized and get you the fastest responses. If that has now been resolved, would you mind marking this topic resolved?

    Thanks!

You’re super welcome! I am happy that code fixed it. Thank you for trying to isolate the cause. Even though the precise source eluded us, every little bit of info does help. We will keep the experience you shared on hand while we investigate further. 🙂

If there is anything else I can do, let me know. Other wise I am marking this topic as awaiting a fix. We will patch the strange paging issues soon, and attempt to notify you when the release is imminent. Just updating your plugins will fix it.

    Cheers!

    Thanks for your understanding, Bud.

Just so you know any proper WP Page Template should be selectable in that drop down. I know some themes, like Genesis, do not always build our page templates. However, often they provide an API for building a page template. If you follow the themes instructions for that, then you can select it from the drop down! That might help you find a workaround while we are still working on more shortcodes 🙂 .

Thanks again. Since you marked this resovled I am going to archive the topic. Please let us know if you need anything else.

    Cheers!

    Howdy bizdoktor,

I would love to clarify this. We mention in a few places on our website that recurring events are not fully compatible with ticketing plugins, and this is a good example. When a recurring event is created with tickets, two things happen that you probably do not expect. 1) The amount of available tickets is shared between all recurrences. So if you have 100 tickets available, and folks purchase 20 tickets for one event, you only have 80 left for all events. 2) There is no way for our plugin to distinguish between tickets bought for one occurence, and those bought for another. So when someone buys a ticket, you have no idea which date they were viewing.

Obviously these are not great caveats. We would have fixed them long ago, but WordPress’ architecture makes this very time consuming capabilites to add. We are working on adding those, but it will be a bit more.

In light of that, let me know if there is anything I can do to help. We do offer refunds within 30 days of a purchase if you’re unsatisfied, all you have to do is email support @ this website with your issue and order number. We definitely want to make you as happy as we can, so if that is something you’re interested in don’t hesitate to reach out. We could even add you to our mailing list to let you know when that feature has been added.

    Cheers!

    Howdy Lora,

I would love to help you with that. That’s a good question. I can see why you might think the filters would appear on the backend as well. We are always considering new ways to try and make even management form the backend easier when you have a lot of events.

One feature Events Calendar Pro  has is that integrates with the free plugin Advanced Post Manager. This does give you the ability to filter events on the backend by category, and date. So if you install pro and APM, you will automatically see those filters popup on top of the list of event sin the backend. Does that sounds like what you are looking for?

    Cheers!

    Howdy Jamie,

There is no easy way of currently doing that. Some people have used some WooCommerce additional details at checkout addons to try and fill that gap, with a little bit of success.

That said we are developing that feature and plan to include it soon in a future update to WooCommerce Tickets. If you’re interested we are even going to start testing that feature in a beta program in the next few weeks. I could sign you up!

    Cheers!

    Howdy Bud,

I would love to help you with that.

There is currently no way to embed the entire calendar into a page via a shortcode. We are developing that feature, but it will be a bit longer before it’s ready. In the mean time though you can easily choose which template the Events Archive page uses. Just go to WP-Admin > Events > Settings > Display and select a different template from the drop down, then click save! Does that work for now?

    Cheers!

    Howdy Vincent,

The free community built addon The Events Calendar Category Colors includes something similar to the categories feature of your link. This works with the free Core The Events Calendar plugin.

If you want something a little more full features and customizable, checkout Filter Bar. It adds the ability to select events from a given category or tag, and a few other features. Again, this is compatible with the Core plugin, but Filter Bar itself does cost some money. It includes a year of updates and support with that, and we could definitely walk you through setting it up.

    Cheers!

    Hey James!

I am helping assist folks in Geoff’s stead today, he is traveling at the moment.

Thank you for sharing those files. I am not seeing anything in the customizations that looks like it would be a problem.

It sounds like you definitely have a timezone issue, considering mid day it changes to the proper day. In reading through this I had one idea on what might be causing the problem which we have not looked into yet. We fairly commonly see plugin and theme authors use the PHP function date_default_timezone_set(). Unfortunately in WordPress it is a terrible idea to use this function. That is because WordPress itself purposefully sets date_default_timezone_set() to give all plugins a baseline to calculate timezones against. If one plugin changes it, it can break every other plugins timezone settings on the website. But, many authors do not realize they are breaking WordPress when they play with this. We purposefully have designed as much of our code as possible to be resilient against this sort of issue, but it’s not possible everywhere.

The solution is to do a conflict test. This guide walks you through how to test for a conflict, and then identify what is conflicting.

Please let us know what you find out. Cheers!

Thank you Claude! I was able to import your translation here: http://translations.theeventscalendar.com/projects/tribe-events-calendar/fr-ca/default We will include it in our next release. 🙂

If you are keen on helping us translate Events Calendar Pro  as well, I can get you a free license to a plugin of your choice such as Events Calendar Pro. Just let me know if you are interested.

    Cheers!
