When posting an event using the community event submission users are getting an error.

Warning: include(/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/community/modules/header-links.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/tribe-community-events/tribe-community-events.php on line 1431

Warning: include(): Failed opening ‘/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/community/modules/header-links.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5_4/lib/php’) in /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/tribe-community-events/tribe-community-events.php on line 1431

Thank you for all your help.

    Howdy Greg,

Thanks for sharing your system information! I think that revealed the culprit. You are running Community Events 3.9.1, but the calendar is 3.10.1. Because of this mismatch errors will occur. If you simply update Community you should be running strong! Does that work?

    Cheers!

I actually downgraded to the 3.9 version after 3.10 started throwing this error. Both error for me. I’ll upgrade once again and see if it fixes the issue.

Updating broke the site. I now get this error when any page is visited.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/content/68/10093668/html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/Tribe/Main.php on line 395

The issue was fixed by removing and uploading a couple of times. It seems that not all files were uploading correctly. Thank you for your time!

Ahh that makes sense! Yeah an unexpected end of file error usually happens when the plugin download is interrupted. It can just be a brief dip in an internet connection that causes it. But redownloading should fix. I am glad it’s working, thanks for sharing the solution!
