MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
I think that filter is only for custom views and get overwritten by our coding.
Anyway, what about with css?
#tribe-events-bar {
display: none;
}Add that css to your theme’s stylesheet or through a plugin such as Simple Custom CSS.
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins. I can answer your questions.
The plugin does create a Category View for each Event Category with the main views of month, list, map, etc…
For example if you have an event category of Lettuce the url is this:
yoursite.com/events/category/lettuce/
So that is one way to show only events from one category in the main views and you can link directly to any of those.
The list view even in Pro does not have the feature have those date icons.
It is possible with a customization.
Or you could embed the Pro Event List widget using the shortcode.
You can read more about the widgets here:
And the shortcodes here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can try to help out here, but limited in supporting features outside of what we ship with.
Our plugin uses the following custom fields for start and end date:
_EventStartDate
_EventEndDate
We have this list of all the custom fields too:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wordpress-post-meta-data/
So maybe the BulkWP plugin can read that and remove it?
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
The Facebook Page you linked to has age restrictions on it and we are unable to import events that have any kind of restriction on them.
You can read more about it here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/facebook-api-errors/#unsupportedget
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can go do change that as Facebook would have to change their API.
Also, deactivating and evening deleting the plugins does not delete or change any of the events or settings, but it is always a good idea to have a backup.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
So if you login you cannot add categories to events in Community Events, correct?
If you take the login requirement off it works normally?
Can you provide a link to where this is happening and if so a base level account for me to see the form and issue.
Let me know and we can go from here.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
So it is possible to create an event and then assign it to an “Organizer”
If that person has an account and has an author level account you can create an event and change the author to them just like you can do with posts.
WordPress limits the changing of authors to only those that have the capabilities to be an author so admin, editor, and author roles.
Another option could be to use the User Switching Plugin:
You could switch to the user, create the event on the front end using Community Events and then change back to your account.
That event would then be assigned to that user.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
1) When a new user registers and logs in, they see 3 settings in the left bar in WP admin… Dashboard, Events and Profile. Can we hide Dashboard?
You can block off the admin using our access settings here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/community-events-settings/#access-control
If you would like to give them access to the admin and customize what they can and cannot see you can try a plugin like Adminimize:
Or you can make them the lowest role of subscriber, which I would recommend too. The role does not matter for community events to work.
2) When the user clicks “Events”, they see all events. They can View events, and they can Duplicate events. Why? As soon as a user duplicates an event, it goes live and they cannot delete it or edit it. What is the purpose of this and how can we turn that off?
The answer is the same as above. Community Events is intended to run all from the front end so I would just disable backend access.
Also, we do not have a duplicate feature so that is coming from another plugin or coding.
3) How can we delete sections from the “New Event” form that users see? i.e. We don’t want users to see the “RSVP section” of the form. We don’t want people to see “Additional Functionality” and click the Modern Tribes add-on link. How can we control that?
Same as above. You can use the Adminimize plugin to change access.
4) Can we control which “Boxes” in WP come up for the user to see, like “Event Options”?
They should all be on the front end to create events, there is no way to hide the RSVP section in the backend with our default features. It might be done with a customization, but that is beyond the support we can provide for the most part.
I would encourage you to go over the New User Primer for Community Events to see how it all works:
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
We do not have a feature to have multiple locations per events. That could be something we could add if there is enough support in the community for it.
So, I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
For now you would have to make them as two separate events.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
WordPress Timezone
What is your WordPress Settings here:Admin > Settings > General > Timezone
Next to the timezone it displays Local and UTC time, please provide that as well. It should be something like this:
UTC time is 2015-09-11 16:26:23 Local time is 2015-09-11 12:26:23
Timezone Settings
What are your two settings here:Events > Settings > General Tab > Timezone Settings
Also, can you please share the ical link you are using to import in a private reply and we can go from here.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for using the Events Calendar.
Here on the pre-sales forum, I’m afraid we do not provide technical support. I would ask that you take any technical support questions across to our wordpress.org forum – our staff scan it periodically and other community members may also be able to help out.
Thanks again!

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
It looks like you are using Genesis.
The first section of our guide addresses this issue:
And the rest of the guide may help on anything else you would like to tweak.
Let me know if that works.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help out.
I see you are using the Divi theme and it is their archive settings causing this as the Event Views are archives.
Head to Divi > Theme Options > General Settings > Number of Post displayed on Archive pages
Change that number to 10 or what you have as the number of events to show in our settings.
That should fix the issue.
Let me know how that works out.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. That is an idea we have seen asked about and would be interested in doing, but have no plans for it right now.
If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.
There was a change in 4.0.6 to help with theme and plugin compatibility and that backfired causing this issue.
We have a fix in 4.0.7 that is due out the first week in March so I would stick to 4.0.5 until that is out.
Thanks
