Some venues won't register as organisations/pages to import from

Hello, I have been using the facebook event importer with great success with my site http://www.Hypecity.ca (events calendar premium is under the calendar page on the main menu) but I have an issue with some venues that won’t register as organisations/pages to import from.

The facebook page i’d like to import events from is:

Attached you will see a screenshot of the problem I am having. One picture is of the above web address im using in the importer section. The second picture is of the “Facebook” tab under the import tab under events on my wordpress site. The importer isn’t registering this page. I have tried using the events link instead of the page itself but that doesn’t work either. I also tried to deactivate the facebook import plug in. I have not deactivated the events plug in for fear of loosing my 70+ events

Please advice.

Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.

The Facebook Page you linked to has age restrictions on it and we are unable to import events that have any kind of restriction on them.

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can go do change that as Facebook would have to change their API.

Also, deactivating and evening deleting the plugins does not delete or change any of the events or settings, but it is always a good idea to have a backup.
