    Hello,

Sorry for the redirect issues. I can help troubleshoot this with you.

Here are 3 tests to help narrow down the problem.

    Test 1
The first option is to just resave permalinks and see if that helps. I know that is a simple solution, but please verify this so we can at least rule it out. 🙂

    Test 2
The second option is to change the community slug and then resave permalinks and see if that helps.

    Test 3
You can change the community slug here: Events->Settings->Community at this field Community rewrite slug

If none of those work then please follow our testing for conflicts guide and see if that helps narrow down the source of the issue:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/testing-for-conflicts/

Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.

    Thanks

    Hello,

I can help point you in the right direction on this there are two methods to do this. One using css and one changing the template.

    Template
Outline here in Brook’s first post is a way to modify the template following the themer’s guide:
    https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/remove-recurring-event-info-from-events-list-widget/

    CSS Method
The css method is also Brook’s first post here:

Events List Widget – Recurring Event problem

Let me know if either of those work for you. If you have trouble please let us know.

    Thanks

    Hi hughconstructs,

Sorry for the issues with the maps not showing. I can help troubleshoot this with you.

I went to the site and saw the maps not showing and either was the html placeholders for the maps. So…

What are the settings in the individual events edit page under Event Location Details for these two:

    • Show Google Map:
    • Show Google Maps Link:

I am pretty sure they are, but would like to verify those are checked.

Do you have any custom templates in your theme for the Events Calendar?

Let me know about those two and then we can go from there.

    Thanks

I am glad to see you were able to fix this issue and thank you for sharing your coding.

Since the issue is resolved I am going to go ahead and close this ticket. If you have a similar issue or another in the future, please do not hesitate to create a new ticket.

    Thanks!

charrame, thanks for providing all that information.

For both charrame and mpurse I would suggest contacting your host and letting them know the issue and to check to see if the error logs on the site show anything. This same issue happened earlier this month and it was an issue with zend_extension=opcache. Once the host fixed that the map view worked again. I would recommend contacting them first and seeing what they have to say and then we can go from there.

For reference here is the ticket I am referring too:

    Location Search

    Permalinks Breaking
charrame the permalinks that keep breaking could be an issue with another plugin or coding in your htaccess file. This plugin could be the cause FV Top Level Categories as it does change the permalinks. If you could deactivate it and see if the permalinks do not break then at least we could either rule it out or know what is causing it.

    mpurse NetworkError
mpurse, I get this error on the Stuttgart Citizen.

    “NetworkError: 401 Authorization Required – http://www.stuttgartcitizen.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php”

I also get a pop up to login. So something is setup on the server to protect this area by username and password at the server level preventing the map from running. Perhaps the /wp-admin/ folder is password protected?

Again let me know what you find out and we can go from there.

All the features are the same for our ticketing add on’s for The Events Calendar. WooCommerce and Electronic Digital Downloads are the two most popular so usually that is what most people ask us about. So I default to talking about those two.

I would say that it is which ever e-Commerce you are most comfortable with of the four is the one to go with and if you want to leave the door open for selling products on your site WooCommerce is good system to have.

    Does that answer your question?

    Great, glad it works.

You could hardcode the Timezone if you wanted to, but as you said it may not be for everyone to do that.

I am going to go ahead and close this ticket, but if you need any other on something else please post a new ticket.

If you have a few minutes to spare could you please review The Events Calendar on WordPress.org

    Thanks

Dostie glad you were able to update, even though you had to do it the 19th century method. 🙂

We do have automatic updates, not sure why yours is not working. If the license is already in the settings for Community Calendar please try disconnecting it in your account on tri.be and readding it. If you have any other issues with this or something else please create a new ticket as I am sure docklands does not want to get a notification everytime this thread is updated and it does not relate to docklands’s post. 🙂

docklands, let me know if you are still having a problem and I can help out.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Sorry for the issue. I visited the site here:

    http://adamusicboosters.org/

And everything worked for me without errors.

Could it be your browser cache has saved the scripts and that is causing the issue. Could you try clearing them or using a browser that has not visited the site and see if that resolves it.

Let me know if that works for you.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Thanks for pointing that out to us. I will make a note of it and have the developers take a look. If we can add it back in I do not see why we would not, but I cannot say for certain yet.

Thanks again for pointing this out.

Ok thanks for the information and for posting on the other ticket too.

I am going to close this thread as there is nothing more to do here. If a new issue comes up or another question related to any of this please create a new ticket and we can help you out.

    Thanks

I am glad the Event Rocket is working and it is worked on by developers of the Events Calendar so if there is an issue please let them know through the WordPress page as they would like to take care of it.

Adding coordinates is a requested feature and we are working to add it. That is about all the information I have about it right now. I am going to close this ticket as there is nothing more we can do about it right now.

    Thanks

    Sorry for the issues Dostie,

Is it possible you can update all the Event Calender, The Events Calendar Pro, and The Community Calendar to Version 3.8. That is the current version for all 3.

Your licenses is still good for over a month on the Community Calendar so you should be able to update it.

Your right I do not think we make this clear enough about the compatibility. I will look into clarifying that on your site.

Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.
