Hi, I need to remove some of the meta text on the upcoming events widget. Can you help me write the appropriate filter to remove this text?

    CURRENT TEXT
    Nursery Volunteer Day
    October 4 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
    Recurring Event (See all)
    Every Friday

    REMOVE TEXT
    Recurring Event (See all)
    Every Friday

    FINAL SIMPLIFIED TEXT
    Nursery Volunteer Day
    October 4 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I can help point you in the right direction on this there are two methods to do this. One using css and one changing the template.

    Template
Outline here in Brook’s first post is a way to modify the template following the themer’s guide:
    https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/remove-recurring-event-info-from-events-list-widget/

    CSS Method
The css method is also Brook’s first post here:

Let me know if either of those work for you. If you have trouble please let us know.

    Thanks

Thanks! The CSS method worked find for my needs.

It would be great if the Widget had a built in toggle for removing various meta info.
