MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in the Events Calender Pro and the recurring Event Feature.
I think I understand what you are trying to do and I believe our plugin does it.
I recommend looking at this article to see how the recurring system is setup.
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/
Then let me know if you have any more questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for the Interest in Facebook Events Importer.
It does not require Pro. All the Extensions only require the Free Version of the Events Calendar. So you can purchase just Facebook Events if you like.
Does that help?
December 22, 2014 at 11:20 am in reply to: Filter Bar will not stay open; will not open at all in mobile view #923865Brian
MemberHello sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot your 2 issues. See my response below:
#1. Filter Bar will not accept ‘open’ as a default state,
So when you visit the site the Filter Bar is not open? I visited your site and it was open by default. Is that what you are trying to have?
#2. Filter Bar in mobile flashes open and immediately closes.
Have you checked on a mobile device? On my iPhone looking at your site the Filter Bar works, but if I shrink the browser window it does not. Please test the site on a mobile device as that is the correct environment for everything to function correctly. I have noticed this happen to on my sites, not sure why it does not work in my desktop browser when reduced in size to a mobile device.
Don’t understand why it says above that “This topic is marked as closed to new replies.”
Might be a bug in the new forum, looks like it still accepts replies though.
Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.
Thanks
Brian
MemberWordPress already loads a copy of jQuery and that coding you are adding loads a second copy of it. I would try removing it and seeing if that fixes the issue.
It is usually been recommend to use the WordPress copy of jQuery from your site and not an external source.
The error you are seeing in the console looks related to the WordPress API, not sure why it is saying that.
I saw you other thread, but it does look related to this so I assigned it to myself, but we can work on both here.
Let me know what you find out.
Thanks
Brian
MemberNo worries, it was a bit crazy here anyway with the site change.
I do not believe it is your Facebook App as mine did the same. Also you should be using just the pagename that is correct, do not think it is that either.
I am not sure why it is just that Facebook page so far causing the filenames to be the same. Not sure if it is a setting on Facebook’s side or in the plugin that is causing the filesnames to come in the same. I have a bug ticket in for the developers to look at it. The good thing is we can reproduce the problem so that should help us figure it out.
Right now I do not have anything for you to test out, but we will let you know when we have something.
Thanks
Brian
MemberGlad it is working.
I am going to close this ticket, but if you need anything else related to this topic or another please post a new topic on the forum and we can help you out.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHello,
So I tested this out.
I used your Facebook Page for the Winery and found the bug only to occur when importing events from that page. I tried on others and could no reproduce the error.
It looks like when you import from your page it uses the page id in the filename and not the event id, which is causing all the files to have the same name.
Not sure what the issue is, but I have created a bug ticket for the developers to go in and take a look at the issue and see about adding another check to prevent this from happening to you and maybe others out there.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
December 22, 2014 at 6:59 am in reply to: Messed up tribe-wootickets-es_ES.po in latest WooTickets distribution #923722Brian
MemberHello,
Sorry for the troubles you are having.
I looked at my copy of WooCommerce tickets and the language file is the same for me. We are working on a maintence release and I can make sure it is addressed in that. I am not sure if we are getting it out before the holiday.
In the mean time you could download 3.8 from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and upload the spanish language file from there until we can get this release out.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having with the translation.
The translation is not working for WooCommerce Tickets only correct?
Is is a specific word or phrase not translating or all of the WooCommerce Tickets in the front end and the admin?
Let me know and we can go from there to resolve this.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi Neil,
Sorry for the issues you are having.
There is a script that runs in the mobile site to reduce the Weekday names so they fit, but there is a conflict causing that script to throw an error.
Can you please follow our testing for conflicts guide:
And see if that can help narrow down the issue.
Let me know what you find out and we can go from there.
Thanks
December 22, 2014 at 6:25 am in reply to: 2 Questions about WOOCOMMERCE TICKETS (Direct purchage & Korean payment gateway) #923715Brian
MemberHi SY Huh,
Thanks for the interest in WooCommerce Tickets. I have answered your question below:
1. Can I change the ‘Add to cart’ to direct purchase?
We do not have that feature out of the box, it should be able to be customized by you to have that happen.
2. Can I use a Korean payment gateway?. I have one of Korean payment gateway which is compatible with WooCommerce.
We do not modify the Payment Process it is still 100% handled by WooCommerce so it should work.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins and the interest in WooCommerce Tickets. I can answer your questions below:
1) Is Wootickets compatible with all Woo extensions? How many of these extensions function with Wootickets? For example, will this work with Wootickets?
It should be compatible with many of the plugins, but do not have a list of what works or does not.
2) Where can I see a list of all product features? For example – I’ve discovered from this thread that Wootickets doesn’t automatically send an email to event organisers. This is potentially a huge deal for me, and something I’d assumed was included before seeing that thread.
Correct the ticking solution is not tied to an organizer and they do not get an email. I would suggest looking at our New User Primer for all the features it has:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-woocommerce-tickets/
3) Does Wootickets only include the standard features that come with vanilla Woocommerce?
WooCommerce Tickets is an add on for the Events Calendar and for WooCommerce. Our plugin handles the creation of the ticket product, placing the form to buy tickets in an event, adding the tickets to the events attendee list, and emailing the tickets to the purchasers once an WooCommerce Order is marked complete. We do not modify the checkout process in WooCommerce nor do you need to buy any extensions to get WooCommerce Tickets to work. However, if you want to take payments through Stripe or another Payment Processor you would have to purchase that.
For another list of all the features I would check out this page:
https://theeventscalendar.com/tickets/
If it is not stated as a feature I would assume it is not included.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions and please look at both that New User Primer and the Products Page.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in WooCommerce Tickets. I can answer your questions.
1. When a visitor books an event ticket is an email sent to them with various booking/payment confirmation details? If yes, can this emails format be edited and how is that managed for multiple events?
When purchasing a ticket WooCommerce Sends the Order email and then once the order is marked complete a ticket email is sent to them. Not sure about customizing the WooCommerce order email, but you can can modify the ticket email following our themer’s guide:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
2. Is it possible to use The Events Calendar Pro plugin with WooCommerce PayPal Adaptive Payments extension?
Events Calendar Pro does not have the ticketing feature. Only our ticking Add ons such as WooCommerce Tickets. However, PayPal Adaptive Payments could work with our plugin as we do not modify the checkout process, but we have not tested it with that extensions so we cannot say for sure. We do offer a 30 day refund period so if you find it is not the solution for you in that period we could refund you the price.
I encourage you to look at our New User Primer for exactly what WooCommerce Tickets (and our other ticketing solutions can do as they have the same features)
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-woocommerce-tickets/
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues with the links in IE8. We no longer support IE8 due to Microsoft dropping support and the security risks created from not having that support.
I understand there are still reasons to support it.
So the only way to support IE8 is to turn off the AJAX scripts as that is what IE8 does not support.
This snippet disables AJAX for the Calendar, List, and Day View:

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks
