ParticipantHiya Tri.be,
I’ve purchased a couple of Event Calendar products and am considering Wootickets. However, I have a couple of questions first.
1) Is Wootickets compatible with all Woo extensions? How many of these extensions function with Wootickets? For example, will this work with Wootickets?
2) Where can I see a list of all product features? For example – I’ve discovered from this thread that Wootickets doesn’t automatically send an email to event organisers. This is potentially a huge deal for me, and something I’d assumed was included before seeing that thread.
3) Does Wootickets only include the standard features that come with vanilla Woocommerce? Does it include all of these features? For example – there’s a Woocommerce extension that allows you to “add attachments to your Woocommerce emails”. Does that mean I’ll have to purchase this extension in order to email my customers an attached ticket? At the moment, I have no idea how customers receive tickets.
I need to get my head around exactly what Wootickets extension does and doesn’t do – including what its integration with Woocommerce extensions.
Sorry if this seems hostile or negative. I’m still a newbie developer, but I’ve learned to figure out what a thing does before I buy it. At the moment, I’m not sure exactly what Wootickets does.
Cheers,

MemberHi,
Thanks for using our plugins and the interest in WooCommerce Tickets. I can answer your questions below:
1) Is Wootickets compatible with all Woo extensions? How many of these extensions function with Wootickets? For example, will this work with Wootickets?
It should be compatible with many of the plugins, but do not have a list of what works or does not.
2) Where can I see a list of all product features? For example – I’ve discovered from this thread that Wootickets doesn’t automatically send an email to event organisers. This is potentially a huge deal for me, and something I’d assumed was included before seeing that thread.
Correct the ticking solution is not tied to an organizer and they do not get an email. I would suggest looking at our New User Primer for all the features it has:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-woocommerce-tickets/
3) Does Wootickets only include the standard features that come with vanilla Woocommerce?
WooCommerce Tickets is an add on for the Events Calendar and for WooCommerce. Our plugin handles the creation of the ticket product, placing the form to buy tickets in an event, adding the tickets to the events attendee list, and emailing the tickets to the purchasers once an WooCommerce Order is marked complete. We do not modify the checkout process in WooCommerce nor do you need to buy any extensions to get WooCommerce Tickets to work. However, if you want to take payments through Stripe or another Payment Processor you would have to purchase that.
For another list of all the features I would check out this page:
https://theeventscalendar.com/tickets/
If it is not stated as a feature I would assume it is not included.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions and please look at both that New User Primer and the Products Page.
Thanks
