MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins. We have a feature to remove past recurring events, but not regular events.
The events are automatically removed from the list view after they are over so only future or current events show.
We do not have a feature to automatically delete events though.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberHi,
I have a snippet for you to help out.
Does the snippet Barry provide in this link work for you:
How to not send the e-tickets? (Tickets to be retreived at the event)
You can remove the text and the quotes and just write:
return;
That should remove the message.
Let me know if that works.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help out here.
Does this snippet change the order for you?

Let me know if that works.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins. Unfortunately, we do not have a way to process checks.
One way to pay without a credit card is purchase a Visa Giftcard that you can use online and purchase the plugin that way.
Thanks
Brian
MemberGreat, glad it helps, I am going to go ahead and close this ticket, but if you need help on this or something else please post a new ticket.
Thanks!

MemberHi,
Thanks for the interest in our plugins.
Unfortunately, we do not have a direct registration feature.
You could use Evenbrite and set it up as a Free Event using our plugin.
I have found this plugin that may work for registration as well, but it is not supported by us.
https://github.com/GlynnDevins/The-Events-Calendar-Registration
And the price does not include Sales Tax and prices are in USD.
Let me know if you have any follow up questions.
Thanks

MemberThank you for the links.
What browser are you using to visit the site?
I looked at them in Firefox and could see all the content.
However, I see a javascript error in the console:
SyntaxError: missing ) after argument list
http://mauitime.com/wp-content/themes/mauitime/js/global.js?ver=1415293665
Line 2Looks like the error is coming from a script in your theme. Not sure how to fix that, but the theme developer maybe have a solution for it.
If that issue gets resolved that may fix the Photo View.
Let me know if the Photo View works after fixing that error.
Thanks

MemberHi Again,
The only work around for recurring events is to create a series of recurring events and then individual edit each event to add tickets.
That is the only method besides customizing the plugin, which is possible, but not something we can support.
We are working to add support for recurring events and the support team is pushing for it, but there is no timeline for its release.
Thanks
Brian
MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot them with you.
Usually issues with the Photo View are related to Javascript errors.
Which categories are not working for you?
Can you provide some links that do work and some do not and we can go from there.
Thanks

MemberHow strange I am not seeing either issue.
I know you said you tested with just the Events plugins on a local site, but can you please follow our testing for conflicts guide:
And see if that helps narrow down the issue.
Also, are you using a Windows Server for either?
If the testing for conflicts guide does not help find the solution, would you be able to create a test site where we could see the issue and try to get to the bottom of it as so far I cannot reproduce it?
Let me know and we can go from there.
Thanks

MemberHi,
Sorry I missed this post. For some reason it did not change to the status that you responded.
When I uncheck Access Control for Subscribers in Community Events settings, it gives my low level users “Subscribers” access to edit Community Events items, which is not good. Specifically venues and organizers.
The plugin is designed to give anyone regardless of role access to create events on the front end so it is working as designed.
If you would like to block a specific role to the community events pages you could follow our themer’s guide to wrap the form in a check for a specific capability or roles and only give users that have them access to it.
This is our themer’s guide to editing templates safely in your theme:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
And this is the file you can start by moving and editing:
the-events-calendar-community-events\views\community\edit-event.php
there are other templates in the same directory that you can move and edit too.
Here is WordPress’s function to check for user roles or capabilities:

MemberSounds good.
I am going to add this thread to our feature ticket and we will then update this ticket when we release that feature.
For now I am closing this out as there is nothing more we can do here, but if you have any other issues related to this or something new, please create a new one.
Thanks
Brian
MemberSince I haven’t heard back from you here, I’m going to go ahead and close out this thread. Feel free to start a new thread if you have further issues. Thanks! 🙂
