ParticipantHi, Lasse. I’m glad to hear you got it working.
For a full description of where templates live and how to override them, please check out the Themer’s Guide, linked in the right sidebar. That should give you a pretty thorough grounding in the subject. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, latow. Thanks for getting in touch about getting help with your customization.
As it happens, customizing that area of the events page, the “meta walker”, is one of the more advanced areas of TEC customization and beyond what the Themer’s Guide can help you with. If you’d like to try your hand at it, please start by checking out our intro: https://tri.be/tribe-meta-walker-an-overview/. After that, if you have any specific questions, we’re very happy to help keep you pointed in the right direction.
By the way, I love what you’ve done to customize the plugin. It looks great!

ParticipantHi, pruneau. I’m so glad that you’re enjoying our plugin. That’s really great to hear.
I was trying to look into your issues, but I’m afraid I don’t see the Month view (grid). Would you mind sending me a link? Once I can play with that, we should be able to work on troubleshooting together.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, Matt. I’m moving your post to the Filters Beta Forum. That may be the best place for it for now.
Someone should be in touch with you shortly to help troubleshooting. Thanks!

ParticipantHi, uxicorp. That sounds really frustrating. I’m sorry you’re seeing this behavior.
The first thing I’d like to ask you to try is deselecting the option to include the events in the blog loop. When you do that, does the behavior change?

ParticipantHi, Tara. I wanted to check in with you about your issue. Would you mind confirming that you still would like help troubleshooting this?
If so, it would be great if you could post a screenshot of how you would like the site to look before/after so we can tell what you’re after here.
Thanks so much!

ParticipantHi, dev. Thanks for asking! You can see our complete demo site at wpshindig.com.
If you’d like to look at WooCommerce Tickets functionality specifically, you can check out http://wpshindig.com/event/the-events-calendar-wootickets-wordpress-demo/
WIth that, I’m going to close this thread. Please start up a new topic if anyone would like further answers to their questions.
Thanks!
September 30, 2013 at 2:07 pm in reply to: How do I get different templates for different views? #68420Kelly
ParticipantHi, Steve. Thanks for updating to the latest version. That’s always a good idea.
You best bet for this kind of theme customization is to dig into our Themer’s Guide, linked at right, which will walk you through how to find the templates you need to tweak.
If you run into any snags along the way, just let us know. We’re always happy to help get you pointed in the right direction.

ParticipantHi, freddyvaca. I’m afraid that I don’t see what you’re referring to. Would you mind sending a screenshot? Thanks!

ParticipantHi, aurelio. Sorry if our documentation on this issue caused confusion.
There’s no need for you to create a page at “events”. TEC will take care of that automatically.
Thanks for asking!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, aurelio. Thanks for the further explanation.
It sounds like the issue you’re running into is that TEC uses a separate taxonomy for Categories. (TEC tags are parts of the site-wide taxonomy, but categories are not.) Right now, there is no way to change the URL beyond the fields in TEC Settings.
I’m sorry that I don’t have better news for you. Is there anything else we can help you with?
Kelly
ParticipantHi, lm. It sounds like you were able to resolve your issue with Barry’s guidance. Please confirm so that I can close this thread.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, semacore. I’m not sure if you saw in my reply above, but we really need you to start a new thread if you would like further support. Otherwise, magisterludi’s issue might get lost in the shuffle.
Thanks for your understanding!

ParticipantHi, izamar. We’re definitely here to help make sure you have access to the documentation and get you pointed in the right direction. It’s up to you to write the customizations for the functionality that you’re specifically after.
That said, if you do feel comfortable tweaking things, we’re eager to make sure that you don’t get stuck along the way.
Hope that helps clarify.
