ParticipantECP Support,
I’m loving the great ECP plug-in but I’m experiencing 2 issues.
1. In the MONTH VIEW of the calendar, when you roll over an event title on the grid, the “Tool tip” pop-up presents the Event Title, Thumbnail photo and copy snippet as it should.
But if you click on the Event Title or Thumbnail Photo in the “Tool tip” pop-up, the links go to a 404 error page not the EVENT DETAIL page as they should.
2. As I’ve added a few RECURRING EVENTS to the calendar, the “Tool tip” pop-up is displaying the Thumbnail Photo in different and inconsistent ways from a SINGLE EVENT.
And I haven’t changed any event settings.
Can you please provide a solution to these issues?
Your assistance is appreciated and I look forward to hearing from you.September 30, 2013 at 3:11 pm #68434Kelly
ParticipantHi, pruneau. I’m so glad that you’re enjoying our plugin. That’s really great to hear.
I was trying to look into your issues, but I’m afraid I don’t see the Month view (grid). Would you mind sending me a link? Once I can play with that, we should be able to work on troubleshooting together.
Thanks!

ParticipantApologies for the snafu.
I turned MONTH view off in settings. Now it’s back on.
Looking forward to your insights.PP

ParticipantHi, pruneau. Thanks for turning back on month view.
Actually as far as I can tell, everything is working as it should. We did come out with a new maintenance release of our plugins yesterday. Have you had a chance to upgrade? If so, that might explain the resolution.
1. All the tooltips for October look right. The tooltips should not have links in them, and those do not. Please confirm that you’re seeing the same behavior. If you aren’t, it may be a good idea to clear your browser cache and reload the page.
2. It looks like some of the recurring events have a small featured image while others have a larger one. Do you think this could have something to do with the image you selected? If you change the image to one of the ones that looks right in a different tooltip, does it look right in that one?
Also, if you haven’t had a chance to upgrade to 3.1 yet, I’d appreciate doing so. It’s just a maintenance release, so it’s unlikely to break anything. (Please make a backup first, just in case.) This way we’ll both be on the same version through our troubleshooting.
Thanks, PP!

ParticipantKelly,
Thanks for your reply.
1. I upgraded ECP to 3.1 as soon as I received the MT email about the upgrade.
2. My understanding is that the THUMBNAIL image and EVENT TITLE should be default links in the tool-tip pop up?
They had this behavior in the site build out. Please confirm that the only link to the EVENT DETAIL page is the EVENT TITLE in the month view calendar grid—nothing in the pop up.
3. Recurring events are displaying different THUMBNAIL image sizes. All of the thumbnail images have been integrated into WP image asset repository at the same size.
You can see this when you look at each EVENT DETAIL page.Is there a setting that controls the thumbnail image size? I would prefer having all of the tool tip pop up images the same size.
I look forward to hearing from you again.
Thanks in advance. 🙂PP

ParticipantHi, PP. I’ll try to answer these in order so it doesn’t get too confusing.
1. Thanks for taking the time to upgrade. That makes it much easier for us to help you.
2. Your second statement is correct. The tooltip is not a link, only the event title in the calendar is.
3. Honestly, I’m not sure why this is happening for you as I don’t know of any other users reporting it. I imagine it has something to do with some subtle facet of CSS. Adding
.tribe-events-tooltip .tribe-events-event-thumb { max-width: 90px; }seems to resolve it in our testing. You can put that in your custom tribe-events.css stylesheet or wherever else seems appropriate based on your setup.Let me know how it goes!

ParticipantKelly,
Can you also provide guidance on how to HIDE the iCal import ALL EVENTS button on just the month grid view? (i.e. css display: none: )
http://yerbabuenagardens.com.s146760.gridserver.com/events/month/From what I see, the CSS selector for this button is the same selector as the iCal import button for a single event.
My goal is to hide the iCal Import ALL EVENTS button on the month and list view.
But I want the iCal Import button to remain in place on the individual event detail pages.Your assistance is appreciated. 🙂

ParticipantKelly, that worked like a charm.
We would also like to exclude that button from the LIST VIEW.

ParticipantHi Kelly,
Apologies for being a nudge but we’ve launched the YBG site and all is working well.
Only one small issue.
We would like to exclude the iCal Import ALL EVENTS button from what I think are CATEGORY ARCHIVE pages.
If you click on an event VENUE link or ORGANIZER link in the grey meta data box in any EVENT DETAIL page, they take the visitor to a LIST VIEW of calendar content.
Ant it is there where this pesky button keeps appearing at the bottom of the list.

OR
http://yerbabuenagardens.com/venue/ybg-learning-garden/A PHP snippet to HIDE the button would be appreciated.
Thanks for all of your help and support! 🙂 -
