ParticipantThank you, Steve!
Since it sounds like you’re set for now, I’m going to close this thread. Please start a new topic if there’s anything else we can help with.

ParticipantHi, heatherlander. Thanks for taking the time to explain your situation to me. I definitely see what you’re looking for.
We wish we could do this, but unfortunately, we are limited because of Facebook’s API. Unless Facebook makes changes to it, we would be unable to access that information, and thus, unable to import the events.
I’m sorry I don’t have better news for you! Is there anything else I can do to help?
Kelly
ParticipantHi, leeman. I’m so sorry to hear that you’re unhappy with the plugin. Is it that you did not understand that Eventbrite charged a fee? If so, would something like our WooCommerce Tickets plugin be a better fit for you?
As far as getting a refund goes, we take care of all refund requests through email. Please send a message to pro /a/ tri.be with a copy of your receipt and a link to this thread.
Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Dick. Thanks for asking about the features of Community Events!
Unfortunately, at this time, we have not implemented the ability to charge for event submission. It is an often requested feature though. If you wouldn’t mind, we’d appreciate you adding your vote to the feature request on our User Voice page: http://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3762678-charge-for-event-submission
That will help us understand what a high priority it is for users like you.
Are there any other questions I can answer for you?
Kelly
ParticipantThanks, Carlisia! We really appreciate the feedback!

ParticipantHi, Ruben. I’m unfamiliar with the situation you describe with the widget being on two lines. I would guess that’s a function of the sidebar width or theme font. You would be able to modify this through some sort of custom CSS (depending on the cause). For information on Events Calendar PRO customization using overrides, please check out our Themer’s Guide for The Events Calendar, linked at right.
I don’t know of any plans to extend the calendar widget to include images, the way our month view does. If that’s something you’re interested in, we’d be grateful if you’d check out our User Voice page: https://tribe.uservoice.com/
Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi, bamdesign. We do have support for recurring events in PRO. I’ll do my best to explain this ins and outs to you.
Recurring events can be configured on a daily/weekly/monthly/yearly/custom basis, using an admin interface consistent with that seen on other popular calendar tools like Google Calendar or iCal. Here’s a screenshot: http://d.pr/i/gTV5
The each recurrence will have its own distinct event page. At the top, under the event title, it will say “Recurring Event (See all)”, and if you hover over the text, the tooltip give a configurable description of the recurrence. Here’s a link to a recurring event on our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/event/wordpress-santa-cruz-meetup/2013-10-16/
Are there any further questions that you have that I can clarify?
Kelly
ParticipantThank you, Tim!

ParticipantHi, Corey. I apologize that our documentation is confusing. That’s certainly not our intent.
At this point, we only have static downloads of the calendar views available, not feeds. For the downloads, we have .ics (which we call “iCal Import”) available from all views, and Google Calendar for single event view only. Outlook is able to import .ics files, so in that sense, you are able to export to Outlook.
It might help to see the behavior for yourself at our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/events/
Hope that helps clarify. Let me know if you have any further questions.

ParticipantHi, lewiscenterarts. It appears you’ve found a bug in our code. My thanks and apologies for that.
As our next maintenance release is almost out the door, the fix for this will definitely not make it in. I will get a developer to take a look tomorrow, if possible, so that I can get back to you about whether there’s an interim fix we can offer you.
You can expect to hear from me by Wednesday at the latest.
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Sam. I’m very sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Your ticket was misfiled in the forum and got lost in the shuffle. That’s probably our fault, and I definitely apologize for the delay.
The ticket email is indeed sent from within the Events Calendar/WooCommerce Tickets system. For details on how to override the default templates, please check out our Themer’s Guide, linked at right. Once there, the files you’re looking for are tickets.php and email.php.
That should get you pointed in the right direction. If you need any further guidance, just let me know!
Kelly
ParticipantThat’s fantastic news, rickiejosen. I’m so glad you were able to fix it.
Since that’s the case, I’ll be closing this thread now. Please start a new topic if anything else comes up.
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Lara. I’m sorry that didn’t resolve your issue.
Are you comfortable tweaking CSS and doing template overrides? If that’s the case, perhaps Barry’s solution in this thread could help: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/the-new-upgraded-calendar-how-to-shrink-month-view-down-to-620px-width/#post-67362
Also, it looks like there may be an issue with your main events page. You may want to check out this fix, if it persists: https://theeventscalendar.com/garbled-events-page-fix/
Kelly
ParticipantThanks for checking that. It sounds like we need to do some more digging.
What happened when you changed to one of the default WordPress themes, e.g. Twenty Twelve?
Also, it would be helpful if you’d let me know the version numbers of our plugins that you have installed.
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Godesana. Sorry you’re having issue with the snippet.
The snippet should be placed in your theme’s functions.php file. If you’re unfamiliar with this process, please check out the excellent Codex article about using functions.php with Child Themes: http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes#Using_functions.php That will ensure that if you update the theme, your changes are not overwritten.
