ParticipantHi, morktron. Thanks for posting those screenshots. That really is puzzling.
Would you mind trying, with the same stripped down setup, i.e. everything else deactivated/disabled, to create a new venue with a description and see if the same thing occurs at that point?
Thanks!

ParticipantSorry about that, vbt. Because PRO is an add-on to TEC, you do need the core files there to be able to edit them. I’m glad that you were able to get this resolved!
That said, I’ll go ahead and close this thread. Please feel free to start a new one if anything else comes up!

ParticipantHi, PP. This snippet should do the trick: http://pastebin.com/uWFT0Vji
Please let us know how it goes in your testing!

ParticipantHi, Anthony. I’m very glad to hear that the upgrade fixed issue #1. Sorry you weren’t prompted for an upgrade. You may want to ensure that the correct license key is installed in your settings.
For #2, I think the issue may be that the Categories filter is abbreviated in the drop down. Do you see “Event Cats” in the list? That’s what you’re looking for. Here’s an example: http://d.pr/i/Y0of
Sorry for the confusion. Please let us know if that resolves it for you. If not, we’ll do our best to figure out another way.

ParticipantHi, jaywhack. There isn’t a limit to the number of events displayed on the map. You can check out this site for an example: http://greatmaineoutdoorweekend.org/events/map/?action=tribe_geosearch&tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=map&tribe-bar-date=2013-09-28
That said, the map view displays points on the map for the events appearing in the list below. I would guess that to display all the events on the map, you would need to run a query that returns all the events.
Please let me know if that works for you!

ParticipantThat’s great to hear, Sam. Thanks for posting here so that others can know how you did it.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

ParticipantHi, Ben. Thanks for getting in touch to ask about image display in The Events Calendar.
There are a couple of options for viewing photos in the calendar. The most compelling is our Photo View. Here’s a great example: http://greatmaineoutdoorweekend.org/events
Featured images are also displayed in the events tooltips on the Month View of the calendar. You can see on this site that some of the events have featured images while others do not: http://events.boisestate.edu/events/
Does that give you a good feel for the options? Please let me know if you have any other questions I can answer for you!

ParticipantHi, vbt. I’m sorry that you’re finding the directions in the Themer’s Guide confusing.
First, have you tried refreshing your browser cache. Sometimes that can yield results. Perhaps it would also be helpful if you pasted the folder paths in your (child) theme for the overrides so I could see if there’s anything wonky there.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello again, thunderbaysymphonyorchestra. You definitely can change the single event template by using a template override.
Please check out the Themer’s Guide for The Events Calendar, linked at right. That should give you everything you need.
Let us know if you hit any snags along the way. We’re always happy to make sure you are pointed in the right direction.

ParticipantHi, thunderbaysymphonyorchestra. Sorry to hear that you’re having this issue.
I’m sorry to say that I haven’t heard of this issue. Do you have this issue in other browsers? Is it changed by disabling other plugins or reverting to a default theme?

ParticipantHi, Anthony. Thanks for getting in touch with your questions.
1. That “miasma” was a bug in 3.0x which has been fixed in 3.1. Please upgrade to the latest version of your plugin, and you should be back in business.
2. As far as the sorting goes, honestly, there hasn’t been any call for it, so it hasn’t been implemented. Is there something that you’re trying to do in particular that you’re not able to because of it?
Please let us know how the upgrade goes for you!

ParticipantHi, Louis. That does sound really frustrating.
Would you mind sending us a link to the event? I’m not finding it on your site.

ParticipantHi, Stacey. Thanks for getting in touch about integration between ECP and Formidable.
Unfortunately, I would have to say that if The Events Calendar is not working for you, it’s quite likely PRO won’t either. To date, we have not had much call for this integration. If we hear enough demand, we will certainly prioritize this but until then, I’m afraid that it’s unlikely to fit your needs.
Sorry I don’t have better news for you. Thank you for considering our plugin!

ParticipantHi, jasonslomack. I’m sorry, but I don’t quite understand what you’re after.
Would you please give me a more detailed explanation or some examples of what you’re looking for?
Thanks!
