ParticipantWe run your plugin on several sites, and we’ve noticed a couple of things:
1. Recurring Events: When we try to update a recurring event, we get a the shadow box appearing but it is “blocking” us from selecting whether we want to to edit this event only or all occurrences of the event.
2. Is there a reason in the admin “list” view that I can’t sort by category? I can sort by every other column.
Thank you,

ParticipantHi, Anthony. Thanks for getting in touch with your questions.
1. That “miasma” was a bug in 3.0x which has been fixed in 3.1. Please upgrade to the latest version of your plugin, and you should be back in business.
2. As far as the sorting goes, honestly, there hasn’t been any call for it, so it hasn’t been implemented. Is there something that you’re trying to do in particular that you’re not able to because of it?
Please let us know how the upgrade goes for you!

ParticipantKelly,
Thank you, that resolved #1 (and just so you know I’m not crazy) for some reason it wasn’t showing that an update was required. So, I manually verified and sure enough it was no the latest version).
As far as point #2, basically, our user wants to be able to sort events via category in the admin; I thought I would be able to do this via filters, but there wasn’t anything there either. So, there is no way for a user to say I want to see only 8th Grade Events. Make sense?
Thank you,

ParticipantHi, Anthony. I’m very glad to hear that the upgrade fixed issue #1. Sorry you weren’t prompted for an upgrade. You may want to ensure that the correct license key is installed in your settings.
For #2, I think the issue may be that the Categories filter is abbreviated in the drop down. Do you see “Event Cats” in the list? That’s what you’re looking for. Here’s an example: http://d.pr/i/Y0of
Sorry for the confusion. Please let us know if that resolves it for you. If not, we’ll do our best to figure out another way.

ParticipantHaha, was this something just added? I ask because that is there in the filters now…it wasn’t showing before… I feel like such a noob. Sorry.

ParticipantThat would be very sneaky on our part, but sadly, it’s just really badly labeled. Even I missed it at first, and I do this for a living! 🙂
I’m happy that we were able to get your issues taken care of. Is there anything else I can help you with, Anthony?

ParticipantI don’t think so, and thank you again.

ParticipantThank you, Anthony! 🙂
In that case, I’m going to close this thread. Please feel free to start a new one if anything else comes up!
