ParticipantHi, jasonslomack. I’m sorry, but I don’t quite understand what you’re after.
Would you please give me a more detailed explanation or some examples of what you’re looking for?
Thanks!

ParticipantThanks for the screenshot. I think I understand what you’re getting at.
Events in TEC are custom post types and use a unique category taxonomy, separate from the rest of the posts. On the other hand, they do use the universal tags taxonomy, like the rest of the site.
Do you think you could use tags for your purposes?

ParticipantHello Kelly,
Below is the reply that I got earlier.
==========================================
Thanks for your purchase. Are you looking to include events in the main blog loop? We have a setting for that under Settings –> General. If you’re wanting the events to appear both in the event category and the core WP category, you’ll probably need to do some customizing. In that case, you might try posting in our premium forums and hopefully we can help you out a bit. If you do not have a PRO license, you’ll need to post your issue to the open source forum. We hit that forum about once a week as we can, since our core effort is on the PRO forums. If you need full support service you will need to purchase a license.
Cheers,
Leah

Basically we want to assign the event post to regular post categories too and also want to tag them.
If this required the customization then let us know when can we start form.
In case if you want to have a look at the application I can provide your the details of the development server admin lo-gins.This is very important for us, and your help will be appreciated.
Thanks

ParticipantHi, jasonslomack. Thanks for clarifying.
Basically, The Events Calendar is bundled with its own event categories. That is how our product is intended to work. π
If you would to take the plugin in another direction, that’s awesome! Unfortunately, we are able to offer very limited support for such customizations.
Your best bet is check out our docs at http://docs.tri.be/. You’ll find our plugin documented with a fair amount of granularity there. Our Themer’s Guide, linked in the right sidebar, could also prove useful. You’re also welcome to browse the forum, which I’m sure will have some useful insight if you dig deep enough.
I’m sorry I can’t be of more help on this one. Good luck in your development! π
