ParticipantHello guys,
When I edit an event, the date resets to blank. I am using Mac with Chrome. Any thoughts?

ParticipantHi, thunderbaysymphonyorchestra. Sorry to hear that you’re having this issue.
I’m sorry to say that I haven’t heard of this issue. Do you have this issue in other browsers? Is it changed by disabling other plugins or reverting to a default theme?

ParticipantHi,
The same issue occurs when I work on the website on either my PC or my Mac and has occurred working in Firefox and Google Chrome. I believe all our plugins are currently disabled and we are in the default theme.
Every time I make an update to an event it wipes the date I set and replaces it with whatever the date of the day the post is worked on – example, today I worked on a post with the event February 20, 2014. When I updated the event it changed the date to October 3, 2013.October 3, 2013 at 4:16 pm #69107Kelly
ParticipantHi, thunderbaysymphonyorchestra. That sounds really frustrating.
Unfortunately, I have been unable to recreate this behavior, so I’m wondering if there might still be something else active that is conflicting with our plugin.
Your best bet is to change your theme to Twenty Twelve or Twenty Thirteen and disable all plugins. Then, start by enabling only TEC. Assuming that works, activate PRO, and on from there.
Usually, that should be sufficient to identify the plugin that is causing the issue. Once you’ve got it identified, go ahead and let me know. If we have a workaround, I’m happy to share it with you. π
Thanks!

ParticipantWe found the problem – TEC is incompatible with our website theme Passage by Qode Interactive v. 1.0.3

ParticipantI’m sorry to hear that, thunderbaysymphonyorchestra. In case you’d like to continue working on the integration, I’d like to share some insight with you. π
Sometimes the problem you described can happen when a script from another plugin or theme interferes with our own admin pages. Could you, perhaps, ask the author if that might be the case and, if so, perhaps request that they only enqueue their resources on their own admin pages?
That might be all it takes to get them to play well together!

ParticipantHi, thunderbaysymphonyorchestra. As itβs been over two weeks since your last reply, Iβm going to close this thread. Please open a new one if you choose to pursue this further in the future.
Thanks for being part of the TEC community! π
