images in month view

Is it possible to include images in the month view? Perhaps even just in the hover text. I haven’t seen that in any demos or screenshots but your Pro features list includes “Image View.”

Hi, Ben. Thanks for getting in touch to ask about image display in The Events Calendar.

There are a couple of options for viewing photos in the calendar. The most compelling is our Photo View. Here’s a great example: http://greatmaineoutdoorweekend.org/events

Featured images are also displayed in the events tooltips on the Month View of the calendar. You can see on this site that some of the events have featured images while others do not: http://events.boisestate.edu/events/

Does that give you a good feel for the options? Please let me know if you have any other questions I can answer for you!

Thanks, that’s helpful. Is the hover text image a feature that’s only available in the Pro version? (I’m trying out the free version right now, haven’t found that functionality in it.)

I’m also wondering if it’s possible to have an image show up in the month view (not the hover text)?

Hi, Ben. The featured image displaying in the tooltip is part of the free version. As long as you have a featured image, that should appear on hover.

I’m guessing that it would be possible to create a customization where you had an image show up in the grid of the month view. Unfortunaetly, we don’t have the functionality implemented at present, so it would be up to you to create that. It sounds really cool, though! 🙂

i would like photos to show up on photo view, nothing does. i have photos with my events, but they are not the so called featured ones, what do i do to get them to show in the photo view
