ParticipantHi, karen. I’m very glad to hear that you got it working. Well done!
For the template overrides, we definitely encourage folks to use a Child Theme when making changes to preserves their customizations. (That’s what I personally do for all of my sites.) Please check out the WP Codex for a detailed and helpful how-to and guide: http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

ParticipantNo problem, David. I’m glad we got it sorted. Thanks for pointing out that we need to update the tutorial!
Also, I just thought I’d point out that it’d be a good idea to include a priority in there just to be consistent. It should still work without though.

ParticipantHi, James. That’s a great question! π
You’re very close. You just need a /tribe-events directory under your theme. That means your path will be:
theme-name/tribe-events/wootickets/tickets.phpThis works for a child theme just like it would if you weren’t in a child theme.
For more info on where to put template overrides, please check out our Themer’s Guide, linked at right.
Let me know if you have any other questions! π

ParticipantHi, millie6. I just wanted to get back to you with an update.
This appears to be related to months that have fewer days than the current day of the month is, e.g. yesterday, that was only February, but today, you’ll see that November is affected.
That said, our developers are looking into the cause as I type. I’ll let you know when I have news about what we can do for you. At least the problem will be “fixed” (or dormant) for several weeks starting tomorrow, which should give us time to figure out a solution.
Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention! π

ParticipantHi, wallyglenn. That’s an awesome tutorial idea! π Thanks so much for the suggestion.
Right now, we’re all focused on getting our next maintenance release out the door. Once that’s complete, we’ll definitely look into it as we hit tutorials.
Realistically, that means that it wouldn’t be any sooner than the next couple of weeks but if you don’t have a hard deadline, we are definitely game to look into this.
Thanks again for bringing it to our attention, and do let us know if you would be interested in us contacting you when we’re ready to move forward! π
Kelly
ParticipantThanks for confirming, Kevin. It’s super helpful to know that.
It looks like we’ve got a solution that just passed QA for our upcoming maintenance release, so relief is on the way! π Thanks for your patience in the interim!

ParticipantHi, Paul. It’s starting to sound to me like there’s a disconnect between what is offered in our product and what you expected when you purchased it. I’d like to apologize for that, along with all the frustration it’s caused.
These are definitely interesting requests, and I can see value in them. If you’d like to pose them in our User Voice forum (https://tribe.uservoice.com), we’ll absolutely consider them as we plan future feature sets. Indeed, if other users like the ideas, they’ll vote your suggestions up, and the community’s demands will be clear.
I’d like to point out that the stock/product management frustrations that you’re encountering are largely a question of WooCommerce functionality. Our add-on makes no attempt to modify their core behaviors but rather taps into them to provide the integration with TEC. The issues you’re reporting seem like more of a quirk of WooCommerce than something we’ve designed.
I hope you don’t mind me asking if we falsely set your expectations somewhere that WooCommerce Tickets would do all the things that you’re requesting? If so, would you please kindly point us to that document or post so we can ensure that others don’t face the same disappointment in the future?
For now, I can only say that the features that you’re looking for require a significant customization, and that’s, unfortunately, not really within our support limitations. If you’d like to pursue this with an outside developer, we’d be happy to give you a list of suggestions. You’re also encouraged to search through the forum threads to see if others have found workarounds that might suit your needs.
Thank you for being part of the TEC community! Please let me know if you have any other questions on this.

ParticipantThanks, millie6. Thanks for the info.
Would you please confirm whether or not this behavior continues when you deactivate all other plugins and change to a theme like Twenty Twelve?
