ParticipantHi, Sam. This is a great question! 🙂
Your best bet to do this is with a translation file. For more help with Translations, please post in our new Translations Forum here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/contribute/translation/. While you’re there you can also see our list of existing translations and view the tutorial on how to install them.
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantHi, jussibr. This is a great question! 🙂
At present, there is no built-in way to have TEC delete past events. I do know of some users working with a third-party plugin to do this, but you would need to research that on your own.
If you’re interested in suggesting this as a feature for us to include in an upcoming release, please suggest it in our User Voice forum at https://tribe.uservoice.com We prioritize new features based on the response they receive there.
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantHi, 3dnatives. This is a great question! I definitely see what you’re referring to on your site.
Unfortunately, since this is a very theme-specific customizations we can’t really tell you how best to proceed … especially as many people have different opinions as to how breadcrumbs might be structured so there’s no real one-size-fits-all here.
If you get in touch with your theme developer and she/he has any questions for us, we’re very happy to help, but beyond that, I’m afraid that there isn’t much we can do.
Are there any other questions I can answer for you?

ParticipantHi, chapelboro. Thanks so much for the detailed reply. This is super helpful!
It looks like the culprit is that you don’t have Day View enabled in your Events Calendar Settings. Because of this, there isn’t a page generated for your users to see.
Including that link in the Month View when Day View is not enabled will be fixed (and not appear) in an upcoming maintenance release. Until then, your best bet is to enable Day View.
Is there anything else I can help you with? 🙂
October 30, 2013 at 1:24 pm in reply to: how can I place something at the top of the events list widget? #73846Kelly
ParticipantHi, ironandsteel. This is a great question! 🙂 I’m happy to help you out with this.
The list widget does both set up the widget and populate the events. Would it be possible for you to share your overridden file with us via pastebin or github so that I can see what you’re trying to do?
Also, if you could explain the end result that you’re aiming for, that would be helpful, too.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, comhlamh. This is a great question! 🙂
I’m not sure what you’re getting at with the page title. What is it that you’re hoping to see?
Also, have you been able to reproduce this behavior with a default theme like Twenty Twelve and all other plugins deactivated?
To better assist you, it would be helpful for you to respond with your System Information, a detailed specification of what’s running on your site for our troubleshooting purposes. To find it, click on “Events” in the left sidebar of the Admin interface. In the subheadings under “Events”, you should now see “Help”. Click on that, and scroll to the bottom of the page that is takes you to. There, you’ll see a box with a black background. Please copy all of the text there using ctrl-a (Windows) or cmd-a (Mac), and paste it in a reply to this thread.

ParticipantHi, Karen. This is a great question! 🙂
This best way to style the Calendar Widget is through a Template Override. For complete details, please check out our Themer’s Guide for The Events Calendar, linked in the right sidebar.
Hope that gets you pointed in the right direction!

ParticipantThanks for asking, Mike. This is a great question!
We do not require a license for instances such as these. Please be aware that without the key entered, you will not be prompted about updates, so you’ll need to stay on top of those manually.
Thanks for being a TEC user!

ParticipantFantastic! Thanks for letting us know, Peter! 🙂
Since you’re all set here, I’ll close this thread. Please open a new one if anything else comes up!
October 30, 2013 at 12:50 pm in reply to: Ticket purchased. No details sent to me of date, venue etc. #73831Kelly
ParticipantHi, Paul. This sounds really frustrating for you. I’m truly sorry for that.
After an order is completed, the email with the event info and tickets is sent to the purchaser. The purchaser’s info will then appear in the Attendee List.
If you place a test order and set the email address to yours, you should receive those emails after the order is marked completed. Are you saying that no emails are sent after the order is marked completed?
If that’s the case (and you’re not even getting the second one from WooCommerce, you may need to take this up with the WooNinjas. Our tickets email is only sent after the second one from WooCommerce.
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantOK, I do definitely see that it’s happening for February, 2014. Thanks for helping me find that.
I’ve certainly never seen such an isolated issue. where only one month’s events disappear like that. Were you able to reproduce the behavior in one of the default WordPress themes, like Twenty Twelve?
Also, I’d appreciate it if you could follow up with your System Info, which is a detailed specification of what’s running on your site for our troubleshooting purposes. To find it, click on “Events” in the left sidebar of the Admin interface. In the subheadings under “Events”, you should now see “Help”. ParticipantHi, meridianrvresort. This is a great question! 🙂 It definitely sounds frustrating to troubleshoot.
I just took a look at your site, and the events stay visible in the week view. (Here’s a screenshot: http://d.pr/i/Re4u) This leads me to believe that there’s caching involved. Have you tried clearing your browser cache/history?
If that doesn’t work, I’d appreciate if you would confirm that you did try this in the default Twenty Twelve theme and provide your System Info.

ParticipantHi, millie6. This is a great question! 🙂
I just took a look at your site, and no matter how many times I scroll through October through December, all the events stay visible. This leads me to believe that there’s caching involved.
Have you tried clearing your browser cache/history?

ParticipantHi, Patrick. I definitely see what you mean about there being so many choices out there. There really are lots!
I’m afraid that I don’t have much experience with any of them, so I can’t recommend a specific choice. Your best bet will be to check out the repository at .org (http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=redirect) and try a few to find a good fit.
If you get stuck along the way, please do let us know!

ParticipantHi, Rebekah! That’s a great question! I’m sorry that you’re having trouble with the calendar. Let’s see if we can get to the bottom of this together.
First, would you mind confirming that this same behavior happens when you’ve changed your theme to Twenty Twelve and deactivated all other plugins?
Then, I would appreciate it if you would paste the System Information that you can find on our Settings page. To locate it, click on “Events” in the left sidebar of the Admin interface.
Also, do you know what change you made that precipitated this behavior resurfacing?
