HI, I have tried the element inspector with no luck. Perhaps you can point me in the proper direction to style the CALENDAR Widget? In the meantime, I’ll keep looking. thanks

Hi, Karen. This is a great question! 🙂

This best way to style the Calendar Widget is through a Template Override. For complete details, please check out our Themer’s Guide for The Events Calendar, linked in the right sidebar.

Hope that gets you pointed in the right direction!

Perfect. I get it thanks. My next question is unrelated but a query.
Why is the directory for the Tribe-events changes in the theme directory , since the theme directory is overwritten on upgrade. I have tried to create a Child-theme which would be used in exchange, but it creates more problems. Just a thought.

Hi, karen. I’m very glad to hear that you got it working. Well done!

For the template overrides, we definitely encourage folks to use a Child Theme when making changes to preserves their customizations. (That’s what I personally do for all of my sites.) Please check out the WP Codex for a detailed and helpful how-to and guide: http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

Since you’re set for now, I’m going to close this thread. Please start a new one if anything else comes up!
