ParticipantHi, James. Thanks for your question!
We recommend adding the folder structure to your child theme and placing the overridden template there. If you find a plugin that will allow you to do it there instead, you could certainly do that, but that would be a customization you would need to handle on your own. It may be that there are other threads in the forum where users do what you describe, so a search might prove useful.
Since it sounds like you’re set for now, I’m going to close this thread. Please open a new one if anything else comes up! 🙂

ParticipantHi, Jonathan. In our test environment with your theme, the gist resolved the issues. Did you see that I posted something for you to try here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/eventbrite-not-importing-event-date-and-ignoring-original-formatting/page/2/#post-73864 (The comment you replied with leaves me wondering whether you did.)Also, have you had a chance to talk to your theme developer? What did they have to say?

ParticipantHi, monkeeboy. This is a great question!
I think what you’re seeing here is a relic of Eventbrite setting limits on what is passed to them through the API. We’ve asked them what the limits are, but haven’t heard back yet.
It’s also possible that this is has something to do with the way that we’re interfacing with the API (which we’re changing in the next release–just around the corner). Would you mind waiting to see if that helps matters?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, theresajennings! I’m so sorry about this. You are seeing a bug in our code regarding the way we deal with dates–it turns out it breaks at the end of some months.
We have indeed found the culprit in our code and have a fix in the works. It may be that you’ll need to wait until our next release, which is just around the corner, but the good news is that after midnight, the issue will go away (lie dormant) until the end of November, so it shouldn’t affect you before the fix is out.
Our apologies again for the Halloween scare!

Let me know if that gets you what you need. Otherwise, I’ll be in touch after 3.2 ships. Thanks!
