Why is the month breadcrumb messed up?

I’m using default page view, full styles.

When I go to the calendar page, it comes up as Events for October 2013. This is fine, since it’s October 31.

Except the month breadcrumbs on that initial view have October on the right (shouldn’t it be September?) and December on the left (shouldn’t it be Novembers?). When I click December in the breadcrumbs, it gives me the December calendar. Yay. I see November in the left breadcrumb. When I click that, it goes to the November calendar.

So the breadcrumbs on the initial calendar page are broken. What is going on? How to fix?

Hi, theresajennings! I’m so sorry about this. You are seeing a bug in our code regarding the way we deal with dates–it turns out it breaks at the end of some months.

We have indeed found the culprit in our code and have a fix in the works. It may be that you’ll need to wait until our next release, which is just around the corner, but the good news is that after midnight, the issue will go away (lie dormant) until the end of November, so it shouldn’t affect you before the fix is out.

Our apologies again for the Halloween scare!
