ParticipantThanks for letting us know, dmuuc! 🙂

ParticipantHi, jeremym0rton. Thanks for your detailed report and honesty. 🙂 That’s super helpful.
This appears to be a bug that shipped with our 3.2 release. As a first step, would you mind trying to resolve this by dropping this snippet into your theme’s functions.php file: https://gist.github.com/jazbek/7442734 (You’ll probably need to remove the opening PHP tag.)
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, I’m happy to walk you through the downgrade process.
Kelly
ParticipantHi, claudiopomo. Your refund has been processed. We’re sorry that the new version didn’t work for you. Good luck finding a solution that does. 🙂
Since this thread has been resolved, I’ll go ahead and close it. Please start a new one if anything else comes up.
Kelly
ParticipantThanks, liblogger! We’ll be in touch after we have a chance to check it out.
Kelly
ParticipantHi, renegadeartglass. That does sound really frustrating.
I would totally help you if I could. Unfortunately, if your calendar is working properly by switching the theme to Twenty Thirteen, that’s a pretty clear indication that your theme is at the heart of the issue.
Without having the complete theme to dig into, it’s not possible for us to give a definitive answer, but it’s highly likely that it has something to do with the way the theme handles Ajax.
For instance, navigating straight to October (but not via ajax, i.e. the previous and next links) results in the events showing, plus a valid response is coming back when we do nav by ajax. Only, it’s devoid of events.
We can’t say definitively whether the theme is running contrary to best practices or not, for this one. What I can say it that your theme appears to interfere with the results of ajax requests, while WP default themes do not.
If your theme’s author has questions for us that will help them resolve the issue, we’re happy to answer them. The Technical Documentation linked in the right sidebar may also prove helpful.
Please let me know if that’s any help!
Kelly
ParticipantThat’s great news, liblogger. Thanks for letting us know!
Kelly
ParticipantSorry about that, liblogger. Here’s what Neill said:
I’m sorry that you are having to deal with this issue. Kelly asked me to jump in here and see if I can get to the bottom of this one. I’ve read through all the issues you are having above and tried my best to also replicate on my end but with no success.
How would you feel about us taking a look at your admin settings on the test site? Is there a way that you can give us a temporary login to take a look around? You can reply here in a private reply and we’ll make sure that the creds stay safe.
Thanks! 🙂
November 13, 2013 at 8:49 am in reply to: Google maps not showing despite complete address entered #76262Kelly
ParticipantSo, it looks like the Google Maps API is loading on the page twice: our plugin adds it, and you have either another plugin or your theme adding it again. This is what’s causing it the image not to display.
Ideally, your other plugin or theme wouldn’t load the google maps api on our pages, but since we don’t know where or how it’s being loaded, we can’t write a snippet to dequeue their include. Here’s one that dequeues ours:
https://gist.github.com/jazbek/7440874
Please add that to your theme’s functions.php file and try it out. That should get you back in business. 🙂
November 13, 2013 at 8:46 am in reply to: Eventbrite not importing event date and ignoring original formatting #76261Kelly
ParticipantHi, Jonathan. It sounds like you’re getting very close! 🙂
Child Themes are to prevent customizations added to a theme’s functions.php from being lost on theme update (among other things). Another option is to put changes in a plugin. Your site developer would be the one to make that decision. It’s also a good idea to add comments so that you know what you were doing when you come back to the new/modified code months later. 🙂
I’ve put a snippet for resolving the Map issue in your theme’s functions.php as well. It should be the ticket. (Here’s the code, in case it’s useful: https://gist.github.com/jazbek/7440874) If it still isn’t working, then I encourage you to go to you theme developer or try deactivating all plugins and activating them one at a time until you find the culprit.
Best of luck to you as you get the final touches on your site!
Kelly
ParticipantThanks for that, mountainx. 🙂 Yes, the fix will definitely be rolled into our next maintenance release.
Did you have a chance to see if it resolved you issue?
Kelly
ParticipantHere’s a tutorial we have with several options for changing the sort order: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-the-order-of-tickets/
Does that give you what you need? 🙂

ParticipantHi, renegadeartglass. I just thought I’d check in and see how things are going.
Have you heard back anything further from your theme developer? Also, have you had a chance to try updating to the 3.2 version of the plugin?
Kelly
ParticipantThat’s great to hear. Thanks, Tim! 🙂
