ParticipantHi, Paul. I’m very pleased to hear that you were able to make the key stick. Well done! π
You can download all the latest versions at any time from your account’s download page: https://theeventscalendar.com/downloads/
Hope that helps!
November 25, 2013 at 6:27 pm in reply to: Have to manually complete orders to send out tickets? #78570Kelly
ParticipantHi, seltice. You’re definitely not the first to experience this frustration.
Unfortunately, this is part of WooCommerce’s functionality rather than ours, so we aren’t really the experts on it. We have heard reports of third party plugins that work well. If you search the forums, you can probably find some threads that address this very scenario.
Let me know if that doesn’t work out for you. π

ParticipantHi, seltice. Great question!
The emails and tickets are controlled by the templates detailed in the Themer’s Guide, linked at right. Have you had a chance to check them out?
November 25, 2013 at 6:22 pm in reply to: Changing Text on Order Reciept + Not getting follow up email. #78566Kelly
ParticipantNo problem, Mick. You’re in the right place! π
It’s not a simple change to make, but it’s certainly not impossible. If you’d like to change the text string, you could hack the plugin. The text youβre looking for is in the file classes/class-wootickets.php in the wootickets folder, line 279.
There absolutely should be an email sent by WooCommerce Tickets after the WooCommerce email. I’m not sure what to tell you about reactivating it as I don’t know why it isn’t being sent now. Your best bet is probably getting in touch with your web developer.
Hope that helps! π

ParticipantHi, GrΓ©goire. Great question! π
I have heard of users finding third-party plugins that will allow this sort of functionality, but it’s not currently baked into the product. If you’d like to suggest this as a feature, we’d be grateful if you’d post on our User Voice forum: https://tribe.uservoice.com/
Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantGreat question, mossy1580! π We actually have a tutorial for this situation.
Please check out the instructions here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation-eventbrite-tickets/configuring-the-eventbrite-tickets-add-on-to-use-eventbrite-co-uk/
Please let us know how you get on! π
Kelly
ParticipantThat’s great news, Derek! π Well done!
By the way if you have a minute or two, we will love it if you would write a few words for us here :

ParticipantHi, wmglennosborne. This is puzzling.
Would you mind posting your System Information, found on the Events Calendar Settings – Help tab? That may leads us to some answers.
Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Kevin. That certainly is surprising. I’ve actually never seen that before. Would you mind sending a screenshot of how you tested just so that I could get a better idea of what we’re dealing with?
Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantThanks, Erin! I’ve passed them along to our dev team. I’ll let you know when they have something for us. π
Kelly
ParticipantHi, pknvelp. So, I’m not able to see basic things like the screen for users. That leads me to believe that the user you sent does not have admin privileges.
Is that not the case?
Kelly
ParticipantHi, liblogger. I just wanted to check in and see if Neill’s solution did the trick for you. Please let us know, so that we can continue troubleshooting, if not! π
Kelly
ParticipantFantastic! Thanks for letting us know! π
Kelly
ParticipantThat makes sense! π Would you mind checking if the Include events in main blog loop is checked in The Events Calendar Settings? It looks like this: http://d.pr/i/yfV2
Assuming that it is not selected, your events should not appear in the blog loop (which is presumably what is being displayed on your front page). They will continue to be visible on all the Events Calendar views.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi, Kevin. Great question!
This sounds like a classic case of a theme or plugin conflicting with The Events Calendar. Have you had a chance to go through our recommended troubleshooting steps of deactivating all other plugins and then activating one by one until the issue surfaces? It’s also a good idea to try a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twelve in case the theme is the culprit.
Please let us know how it goes! π
