ParticipantHi, braniganinteractive. The ticket iFrame is actually just passed to us from Eventbrite. I believe that you can alter its appearance by using the tools on Eventbrite’s site under the Design tab, seen here: http://d.pr/i/ccYg
Please check that out, if you have a chance, and let us know how it works. If not, we can try to help you find another way to get what you’re aiming for.
Thanks for being a TEC user!

ParticipantHi, Jared. Thanks for doing so much troubleshooting on your end. That really helps.
This issue with HTML being improperly passed to Eventbrite is definitely on our radar, and we’re working on a solution. If we can get you a snippet that will resolve it before the fix makes it to our published release, I’ll be in touch.

ParticipantHi, braniganinteractive. Thanks for getting in touch about your issue. I really apologize for the lag in response time.
Let me have this looked at by our team and get back to you. I should be in touch within the next day or so.
Thanks for your continued patience!

ParticipantHi there, folks. I apologize for the delay in response.
@nicolapenacultural, I’m glad that you were able to resolve the issue. Thanks so much for reporting this here, as well as what worked for you.
@blackswantemple, thanks for the link. Are you expecting to see an Eventbrite ticket sales frame on that page? If so, are you seeing an error when you’re trying to save?
@rocketpop, I’m responding to you in the other thread you opened, so let’s keep that discussion over there for clarity’s sake. Thanks, everyone!

ParticipantHi, Kevin. I’m sorry that you’re experiencing this issue. Let’s see what we can do to get you back in business.
I went to your site at http://wec.rpmdevserver.com/events/, but I couldn’t find any events that were linked to Eventbrite. Would it be possible for you to point me at an instance where you were seeing this behavior or send me a screenshot of the error? Once I have that to troubleshoot with, I should be able to get you some steps to try to resolve this.
Thanks for your patience!

ParticipantHey, Brian and Michael. Just by way of an update, the developer confirmed she’ll take a look at this tonight, and we’ll be back with a more substantive answer from there.
Thanks for your continued patience as we work through this!

ParticipantHi, blackswantemple. We’re totally happy to help you out with this. As it looks like your problem is unrelated to this thread, would you mind starting a new thread with your issue and also including a link to your site? Then we can make sure that you’re back in business as quick as possible.
Brian and Michael, I’m going to check in with Neill and see where we’re at. We’ll be back in touch soon!
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, timelesstime. I definitely hear your frustration there, and it’s totally justified. Eventbrite’s API is quite restrictive, so we are very limited in what we can do on our end.
That said, this issue is definitely on our radar, and we’re working on a solution. If we can get you a snippet that will resolve it before the fix makes it to our published release, I’ll be in touch.
Thanks for being a TEC user!

ParticipantHi, nicolapenacultural. Thanks for getting in touch about your issue.
If you don’t mind, I’d appreciate some clarification about your situation. Are you trying to create an Eventbrite event from your event in The Events Calendar?
It could be that I don’t understand, and if that’s the case, I apologize. If you could link to a screenshot of the error you’re seeing that would be very helpful in our troubleshooting process.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Deborah,
I’m sorry that it’s been so long since you’ve had a response. I wanted to check in with you and see how you’re doing with the add-ons.
As far as I can tell, the WooCommerce Tickets add-on at your site is now working properly. Does that mean that your issue is resolved? If not, what can I do to help you get things working properly?
Thanks for your patience!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Dan. Thanks for getting in touch about your question.
The WooCommerce Tickets add-on provides integration between The Events Calendar and WooCommerce. That said, if the WooCommerce engine supports the upsell that you’re looking for, it’s likely that it will work.
Without a little more detail, I’m afraid that I can’t give you a definite answer. Also, it may be that this is something that the folks over at WooThemes might be better positioned to help you out with.
Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you.

ParticipantHi, Colin. The PRO version sounds like it would be just what the doctor ordered.
Using The Events Calendar PRO, you’ll have two different options. First is that you’ll have check boxes that will allow you to select the elements that display in the widget. Here’s a screenshot of that. Second, you are able to create a template override that will give you complete control of what you display and how you do it. We have a tutorial on that over here.
Also, included with the PRO license is a subscription to premium support in our forums. We’ll be happy to help you with setup and troubleshooting every step of the way.
Please let us know if we can answer any more questions for you that would help you make your decision easier.

ParticipantHi, Karen. Sorry to hear you’re still having trouble. For specific troubleshooting, we’d appreciate it if you’d start a new thread in the appropriate premium support forum.
If you’re using WooCommerce Tickets, please check out this forum: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/wootickets/
For the Events Calendar PRO, please post over here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/forum/events/events-calendar-pro/
Thanks for using The Events Calendar!

ParticipantHi, Fernando. These are great questions.
It is absolutely possible to customize the URLs for single events. First, you’ll want to make sure you’ve set up your WordPress install to use pretty permalinks. Then, you can specify the individual event slug to be whatever you like on the individual event page.
As far as the tags and categories pages within TEC, those pages should be there assuming there is content to display. If you’re getting a 404, that’s something we can definitely troubleshoot with you in the PRO forum.
The Categories taxonomy is specific to TEC, and that is consistent between the free and PRO versions. Tags are sitewide in both.
Lastly, thanks so much for the feedback about the Spanish localization. Our translation files are sourced from our user community, and as such, are prone to occasional misspellings and inconsistencies. If you would like to contribute, we would love to help you out with some sort of discount on our license(s). Please email pro /a/ tri.be, and we’ll give you the details.
Hope this all helps!

ParticipantHi, Julia. Thanks for getting in touch with us about your issue.
It sounds like you may be seeing an issue with The Events Calendar integrating with another developer’s plugin. While we can’t promise integration with all other plugins that are out there, we’d be happy to try to help you out as best we can.
It would be very helpful for troubleshooting if you could tell us a few things:
- What version of WordPress are you running?
- What version of The Events Calendar are you running?
- What version of Events Calendar PRO are you running?
- Where can we find the other plugin you’re using?
- Do you have an instance that we could look at of the plugins behaving correctly?
- Do you have an instance that we could look at of the plugins behaving incorrectly?
Let us know, and we can take it from there. Thanks!
