ParticipantHi, csamaras. It sounds like you’re having some questions about the WooCommerce functionality here. I’d suggest you first check out their support resources.
If you come across anything that’s specific to WooCommerce Tickets, we’re more than happy to help you out here. Until then, the folks at Woo are really the experts.
Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantMy pleasure, Joel! I’m going to go ahead and close this thread, but please start a new topic if you have any further questions.
Thanks!

ParticipantNicely done, mike! Do I take it that you’re all set here for now?
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Joel. Have you considered using WooCommerce’s coupon functionality? That should be ideal for this application.

ParticipantHi, Dimitri. Thanks for your paste.
In month view, a query currently runs for every single day. Please note that this is liable to change in a future release; however, at present, eventDisplay for those particular queries is set to ‘custom’. and you would need to change your code to catch this.
Since this is really a bespoke customization, we can’t provide too much more help, but you might also consider (should it be easier) overriding the relevant template and testing each event to see if it belongs to one of the ‘banned’ categories and then skipping it (or not) on that basis.
I hope that helps get you on your way. Sorry we can’t offer more in-depth assistance.

ParticipantHi, Jennifer. First, thanks so much for being an Events Calendar user. We’re very happy to welcome you to the community.
1. As far as RSVPing goes, right now TEC doesn’t offer a true RSVP solution. Probably the easiest way for you to do that would be to set up a free ticket that people can “purchase” to confirm their attendance.
2. Please check out the Themer’s Guide that Julie linked you to for instructions on how to customize your tickets window.
3. The “Comments” section is part of your theme, rather than TEC. Our events pages are just custom post types, so our info is being pulled into your theme’s pages. Please get in touch with your theme developer for instructions on how to change that. If they have any specific questions, we’re happy to answer them. We also have complete technical documentation here: http://docs.tri.be/
Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi, greggc. Thanks for getting me all the version numbers.
Unfortunately, this sounds like a classic case of Headway conflict. Would you mind confirming that your site works under Twenty Twelve?
As you may know, TEC does not use shortcodes, so I’m afraid we can’t help you there. We do hope to develop some resources to help users of Headway integrate more easily, but haven’t yet been able to accomplish that.
Hope this helps!

ParticipantHi, izzyme85. Thanks for getting in touch about your customization.
If you are trying to retrieve event data from a ticket product, you need to establish which event is related to the product. This can be done through the _tribe_wooticket_event post meta data field. However, what you are doing is very bespoke and we’d really need to leave it to you to figure out the details.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi, apextyler99. Thanks for getting in touch about how to achieve your customization.
Please take a few minutes to check out our Themer’s Guide, linked to the right, as well as our Technical Docs. The files that control tickets and emails are listed there as well as descriptions in how they can be customized.
Unfortunately, creating this for you is outside of our mandate, but we’re happy to give you pointers and answer questions along the way!
Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi, greggc. Sorry to hear that you’re having issues still.
Please tell me which versions of Word Press, The Events Calendar, Eventbrite Tickets you’re using, as well as your theme, and we can take it from there.
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Donald. I’m sorry that this is so challenging.
Would you mind trying this snippet to fix the issue on your month calendar: https://tri.be/stop-tooltip-from-obscuring-event-title/
Hopefully, that’ll help get things back in operation.
Kelly
ParticipantHi, scrimshire. Thanks for trying with Twenty Eleven.
Would you mind trying this gist instead of the one I linked you to earlier: https://gist.github.com/jazbek/5959855 That should fix the static front page issue.
As for the events that aren’t displaying, it’d be very helpful if you’d send me the direct URL of an event that you’ve created so that I could see it. If you could also post a link to the screenshot of the back-end ticket settings, that would be ideal.
Kelly
ParticipantHi, groupiso. Unfortunately, this isn’t a customization that we’re set up to walk you through.
If you’re looking for a developer to help you with it, we’re happy to recommend some or answer any specific questions they may have. I apologize that we can’t do more for you at this time.
Best of luck with your customization!

ParticipantThanks for letting us know, Joe. Glad you were able to resolve it!

ParticipantHi, pdelite. Unfortunately, I don’t have a specific date.
These errors are known issues, and they’re on our radar. We’ll have them rolled into an upcoming production release, but I can’t promise you when.
Are there any other questions I can answer before I close your thread?
