Everything has gone great except today the site is down. I haven`t touched this site in months and I suddenly get the following error:
    Site: http://www.funnyfest.com
Fatal error: Cannot re-assign auto-global variable _POST in /var/www/vhosts/funnyfest.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-eventbrite-tickets/tribe-eventbrite.class.php on line 1268

Hi, greggc. I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with your site.

It sounds like you’re on an old version of the add-on. If for some reason, you’re not in a place to go through upgrading at this time, here’s a thread that should help you get back online:

    Using Eventbrite and PHP 5.4

After upgrading to the latest version of our plugins, it should also be fixed.

Thanks for being a TEC user!

Hi, greggc. Just wanted to check in and see how upgrading your plugins worked for you. If you’re still having the issue, we’re happy to help. If not, please let us know so that we can close this ticket.

    Thanks!

Hi, greggc. It looks like you’ve moved on, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread.

Please start a new topic if there’s anything else we can do!

Actually, I still need help! I resolved the previous issue but the calendar is not showing up anymore and I can’t find it anywhere. The “here is your calendar” link in the back end defaults to the homepage. I am using Headway theme, there may be a conflict? Is there a short code for the calendar?

Hi, greggc. Sorry to hear that you’re having issues still.

Please tell me which versions of Word Press, The Events Calendar, Eventbrite Tickets you’re using, as well as your theme, and we can take it from there.

Hi, greggc. Thanks for getting me all the version numbers.

Unfortunately, this sounds like a classic case of Headway conflict. Would you mind confirming that your site works under Twenty Twelve?

As you may know, TEC does not use shortcodes, so I’m afraid we can’t help you there. We do hope to develop some resources to help users of Headway integrate more easily, but haven’t yet been able to accomplish that.

    Hope this helps!

Was the shortcode removed in this version? I think maybe I had created a page and embedded the calendar shortcode to get this working previously but I can’t recall for sure.

Hi, greggc. Because of the way TEC is implemented, we do not use shortcodes.

Sorry I don’t have better news for you.

Well it worked before and that is why I bought it. What is the solution?

Hi, greggc. I definitely hear your frustration here. I’m very sorry that I don’t have a real solution for you.

Because of the way that TEC is implemented, shortcodes would require a complete overhaul of our codebase, so they haven’t been available for something like you’re trying to do, and they’re not anywhere on the roadmap at present. We do have a known conflict with Headway, and there is no workaround at this time. Unfortunately, our hands are really tied here.

I would suggest that if you wanted to continue using the plugin, you revert to old versions of everything involved and see if that can make things right. If not, we would be absolutely be willing to give you a refund. Simply email pro /a/ tri.be and reference this support thread.

I apologize again that I wasn’t able to resolve your issue.
