ParticipantWell I have a number of problems but this is the worst.
I’m working on a child theme of canvas. It’s a part of a multisite install also. The event is set in the future. The start date for the ticket is set in the past. There is stock, an SKU, an associated woocommerce product. But no ticket purchase option on the event page (or in the listing – I believe there was one here too in the original version I installed).
The entire plugin was failing to work with a static homepage, which I’ve had to turn off for now (not ideal). I’ve deactivated all plugins except WooTickets, WooCommerce and Events Calendar but still nothing. I’ve tried it with other themes (including ones it worked fine with before) but nothing.
I don’t know what else now…

ParticipantHi, scrimshire. This definitely sounds like a frustrating issue.
First, you might check over in the right sidebar under “Useful Code Snippets”: Conflict: Canvas/Genesis – Fix for a Broken Main Events Page. That will probably fix the static homepage issue.
After that, when I visit your site and click the events calendar, I don’t see anything listed. Please create an event so that I can see this in action and provide a link to it.
Also, would you mind confirming that it occurs in unmodified Twenty Twelve, with all the latest versions of the plugins? We haven’t had any other reports of this, and so I want to be double sure that you’re on a standard configuration before we start trying to dig deeper.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey, I tried it with an unmodified Twenty Eleven and still had no luck.
And as for events not showing – that’s precisely my point. There are 4 events between now and October that should be showing but are not. As I said they meet all the right criteria, the events are later than today. The start period for the ticket is earlier than today too. In fact, the associated woo tickets can be purchased via a product slider on the homepage, but you cannot see events on the event page.September 9, 2013 at 4:41 pm #65202Kelly
ParticipantHi, scrimshire. Thanks for trying with Twenty Eleven.
Would you mind trying this gist instead of the one I linked you to earlier: https://gist.github.com/jazbek/5959855 That should fix the static front page issue.
As for the events that aren’t displaying, it’d be very helpful if you’d send me the direct URL of an event that you’ve created so that I could see it. If you could also post a link to the screenshot of the back-end ticket settings, that would be ideal.

ParticipantHey Kelly,
Thanks so much for your help. That’s amazing! I don’t know what I was getting wrong before but that gist has got my events listing showing! We’re so close now. THe only thing remaining now is a lack of an “add to cart” button on the event page or listings page…This is the event:

ParticipantHi, scrimshire. Thanks for all the screenshots. Would you mind uploading one more? Specifically, we’re looking for the shot of the ticket settings. Hopefully, that will give us what we need.

ParticipantHi, scrimshire. Thanks for getting back to us with those.
From what we’re seeing everything looks in order. Would you mind confirming that when you’re testing under Twenty Twelve or Twenty Eleven with plugins disabled, you have WooCommerce, The Events Calendar, and WooCommerce Tickets as the only active plugins?
September 11, 2013 at 10:22 am #65491scrimshire
ParticipantRight now got it in twenty eleven with just those three plugins active.
Still no add to cart button.
Is there a way I can manually add it to the single-event and list templates?September 12, 2013 at 7:59 am #65620Kelly
ParticipantHi, scrimshire. Thanks for testing that for us.
It looks like we’re going to be rolling the fix for the no-add-to-cart-button into a release very soon now. If you can hold tight for that, it should do the trick.

ParticipantHi, culturejam. Thanks for posting.
Sometimes issues that seem similar on the surface actually have a different root cause. If you’re experiencing trouble with WooCommerce Tickets, please start a new topic so that we can help you get to the bottom of it.
On the other hand, if you really think that you have the same problem as scrimshire, it might be worth waiting until our next release which is due out in a matter of days at this point.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Kelly, any details on when this update will be as it’s getting quite critical now…
September 24, 2013 at 12:30 pm #67541Kelly
ParticipantHi, scrimshire. I’m really sorry for the delay. The release is, in fact, imminent. Just a bit longer now…
Thanks for your patience!
