Get event meta to work with Woocommerce filters

Hi,
the theme we’re using supports a lot of filters for Woocommerce product listing (category, price, tag, etc.). However, the filters don’t see any of the meta from the Events created in the plugin.

Is there a way to fix it? If there’s no direct way, I’m eager to code a workaround myself if needed, so any advice and tips programming-wise is also welcome.

If you are trying to retrieve event data from a ticket product, you need to establish which event is related to the product. This can be done through the _tribe_wooticket_event post meta data field. However, what you are doing is very bespoke and we’d really need to leave it to you to figure out the details.

Hi, izzyme85. Unfortunately, it looks like you’re right, and we haven’t yet documented it.

Honestly, you’d need WP development help to press ahead with this. We can’t give you some code to drop in as it’s not immediately clear how your catalog filters are operating, and that’s beyond the scope of support we can offer.

I’m sorry I don’t have better news for you. Hope that helps point you in the right direction if you decide to continue on your own.
