ParticipantHi, thisibelieveince. Thanks for getting in touch about making changes to your ticket emails.
The tickets and the emails are controlled by two separate files, cleverly named tickets.php and email.php. You can read about how to customize them in our Themer’s Guide, linked at right.
Have fun with your customization!

ParticipantFantastic, Leland! Thanks so much for confirming.
Since it looks like you’re set for now, I’m going to close this thread. Please open a new one if anything else comes up.

ParticipantHi, cfunkyk. It looks like you’ve moved on here.
Since it’s been two weeks since we’ve heard from you, I’m going to close this thread. Please feel free to create a new one if you’d like to pursue your situation further.
Best of luck!

ParticipantHi, tempomedia. If this is your first time doing something like this, your best bet is to read the Codex doc on Child Themes, especially the section on Using functions.php: http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes#Using_functions.php
As always, please be sure to make backups before changing anything on your site. Good luck!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, tempomedia. Sorry if it wasn’t clear.
Please put the snippet in your functions.php file. That should do the trick.
Hope this helps!

ParticipantHi, Nathan. Thanks for sharing your feedback on this.
Unfortunately, we don’t have detailed instructions for this sort of customization. If you’re looking for a developer to help you create something for you, we’re happy to share the names of some freelancers.
If you’d like to suggest it as a feature, it’d be great if you’d do so over at our User Voice page: tribe.uservoice.com.
Thanks for being a TEC user!

ParticipantHi, Brad. Sorry for not being clear.
The snippet should go in your functions.php file.
Please let us know how it goes!

ParticipantHi, Gordon. Thanks for your quick response. I took a few minutes to check out your setup and everything seems according to Hoyle.
I’m guessing at this point that you’re looking at a plugin conflict, and the most likely culprit to my eyes would be WPSEO, but that doesn’t mean it is. My recommendation is to deactivate other plugins to eliminate which is the culprit and go from there.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi, Daniel. I’m so glad that fixed things for you.
As far as the rationale for hiding the tickets goes, we have found that most users want their tickets separate from the rest of their Woo Shop. That way, the tickets are not separated from the events that they are for. I’m glad that you can have it your way, too!
Thanks for being a WooCommerce Tickets user!

ParticipantHello again, Gordon. I’m sorry to hear that this has cropped up for you.
My first thought is to ask if it’s possible that WooCommerce Tickets was deactivated somehow. That seems like the simplest explanation.
Have you changed or updated anything recently to your site?
If you’d like to give us credentials to log in to your site, please post them as a private reply to this thread. Then, we can take a look and see if there’s something amiss.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, zulucommunications. Welcome to the community!
Have you had a chance to check out the WooCommerce Tickets New User Primer at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/wootickets-new-user-primer/ ? The videos lead you step by step through the process of installing and configuring WooCommerce Tickets and creating your first ticket.
For customizing the look, you may want to investigate our Themer’s Guide, linked at right. That will help you learn how to make changes to the style of TEC and WooCommerce Tickets so that it’s more in-line with the rest of your Theme’s feel.
Hope that gets you rolling!

ParticipantHi, Gordon. Thanks for getting in touch about your question.
As far as I know, this shouldn’t be an issue, but because this is really more of a WooCommerce functionality issue, rather than WooCommerce Tickets, I would strongly encourage you to check in with our friends at WooThemes about it. It would probably be a good idea to test it on your staging site before rolling out, as well.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantThanks so much for letting us know, Melissa. Any feedback from Eventbrite would be much appreciated.
Thanks for being a TEC user!

ParticipantHi, Leland! We just got a snippet that looks like it should resolve the issue for the time being, until we get a fix rolled into the official release:
https://gist.github.com/jazbek/6597658
Please check it out, and let us know if that’s helpful. We really appreciate your patience while we worked through this!
