"Upcoming events" appended to all page titles

seems to be having the same problems as listed here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/upcoming-events-appended-to-page-titles-sitewide/#post-64648
I managed to get it to go away for a while by switching the events template page, but now I can’t get rid of it no matter what I do!

Is there a workaround for this bug yet, or does anyone have any idea how I can override it at least for the time being?

Hi, Leland. I’m sorry to hear you’re being bitten by this bug.

Unfortunately, the fix for this is still in the works. It will be addressed in an upcoming release, but we don’t have a timeframe on when that will be.

We’re hoping to have a snippet to help you out here soon. I’ll check with our devs and get back to you.
