How to add a customized message to tickets?

I would like to add a customized message to tickets for my event saying something along the lines of “Please print this email out and bring it to the event as your ticket.” I worry that customers won’t be 100% certain to do that based on the way the WooTickets emails look. They may assume they will be getting something else as their “official” ticket since it has no bar-codes or other things people would be familiar with from TicketMaster, etc. Is this something that I can add, if so where would I do it? I can’t find a WooTickets tab in the settings for either The Events Calendar or WooCommerce.

Hi, thisibelieveince. Thanks for getting in touch about making changes to your ticket emails.

The tickets and the emails are controlled by two separate files, cleverly named tickets.php and email.php. You can read about how to customize them in our Themer’s Guide, linked at right.
