ParticipantHi, scrimshire. I’m really sorry for the delay. The release is, in fact, imminent. Just a bit longer now…
Thanks for your patience!

ParticipantHi, Nathan. Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. We really appreciate feedback from our user community.
We are in the process of rolling out a fix for the bug you’re experiencing, and the patched release is expected out in a matter of days. If you would like to have a fix in the interim, please check out this snippet: https://theeventscalendar.com/recurring-events-dialog-fix/. It should do the trick.
Is there anything else I can help you with at this time?

ParticipantHi, JD. Thanks so much for letting us know that Barry was able to get you back in business.
I’m going to close this thread for now, but please do open a fresh one if anything else comes up.

ParticipantHi, phillyfreeschool. I know this is frustrating, but please don’t be discouraged! Once you’re through the upgrade process things should get much easier.
I just took a gander at your site, and it looks to me like your upgrade worked great! You can see the events here:
http://www.phillyfreeschool.org/events/upcoming/
Since your event data are intact and you didn’t have data loss, the next step would be to massage your site to work with the structure of TEC 2.x (like the location you mention above) as well as the design elements. To that end, I’d recommend checking out our Themer’s Guide, linked in the right sidebar of the forum. If you’re looking for more in-depth documentation of the ins and outs of the plugin, please take a look at our techincal documenation which we completely overhauled as part of our 3.0 release to make it extra-clear and useful: http://docs.tri.be
We know that the task of getting your theme looking consistent again after a plugin upgrade can be daunting. If you’re starting to feel a bit overwhelmed by it all, we’d be happy to pass along the names of some developers that we’ve worked with in the past. One of them should be able to help you get the CSS and aesthetics modified to the extent that they’ll integrate properly with the new templates and will get the calendar looking like you want it.
Thanks for being a loyal TEC user, and please let me know if you have any further questions!

ParticipantHi, islandjim. Thanks so much for watching the videos and checking back with us about inconsistencies. We really appreciate having this kind of conversation with our user community.
In the rush to get bug fixes out after our initial 3.0 release, the version numbers for our various products have, indeed, gotten a bit out of whack. That’s definitely our fault, but we decided it was preferable to leaving some of these issues unresolved until our next scheduled maintenance release.
Now, that upcoming release is almost upon us–it should be out in a matter of days. Once that’s gone out the door, we should be back to consistent version number across all the Events Calendar family of plugins/add-ons.

ParticipantHi, howardpw. I’m sorry to hear your experiencing this issue with the Calendar List View.
Since this is more of a The Events Calendar issue than a WooCommerce tickets issue, I’m going to move your thread to that forum. One of our experts there will be glad to assist you.
Thanks for being a TEC User!

ParticipantHi, irenicon. As it’s been a couple of weeks since we last heard from you, I’m going to close this thread.
Please keep your eye on the release notes to check when we’ve successfully rolled out the fix for your issue. Thanks!

ParticipantHi, Jennifer. Since we haven’t heard back from you, I’m guessing my last post did the trick.
I’m going to close this thread for now, but please feel free to start a new one if there’s anything else you have questions about. Thanks!

ParticipantHi, phillyfreeschool. We really do need you to be on our current lifecycle in order to provide you support. That means upgrading first to 2.x and then to 3.x.
Flushing permalinks is necessary after the 2.x upgrade because the pages have moved. (It can actually help at other times when your links don’t seem to be behaving themselves, too.) To flush them from the dashboard:
1. In the main menu, find Settings -> Permalinks.
2. Scroll down, if needed, and click “Save Changes”.Let us know how it goes!

ParticipantHi, Michael. Thanks for checking on the plugin side. I’m sorry that didn’t resolve it for you.
Were you able to try with Twenty Twelve theme in place? Did that make a difference?

ParticipantHi, orgspring. I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this problem as well.
Rest assured that this bug is a priority for us, as we know that it affects many of our users. We plan to have it squashed in an upcoming release.
Thanks for being a loyal TEC user!

ParticipantHi, Paul. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this issue with the calendar display on your site.
First, I’d like to encourage you to complete the upgrade to the latest version of Events Calendar PRO (3.0.5) as there have been many bug fixes implemented. It’s possible that one of them may resolved your issue without further troubleshooting.
Poking around a bit more, I notice that the event list is also displaying in a way that doesn’t look right. This leads me to believe that there might be an issue with integration with your theme. I see above that you had a chance to test with the default Twenty Eleven theme in place. Did that change the behavior at all?
Beyond that, the last thing I’d ask you to try is to re-enable the “Tribe Bar”. We’ve definitely see some problems crop up when it’s disabled, and that could possibly be the issue here. If that’s the case, we have a fix in the works for our upcoming release that may resolve the issue.
Anyhow, hopefully this will help you as we roll into the weekend. If not, we’ll be happy to pick this up with you on Monday.
Thanks for your patience while we work through this together!

ParticipantHi, phillyfreeschool. Congrats on taking the plunge on what was a huge upgrade that involved major changes to the way The Events Calendar works. Basically, we went from events being regular posts in a category called events to a custom post type, with a totally separate taxonomy of categories all our own. (Tags are still universal.)
Unfortunately, now that we’re well into the 3.x product lifecycle, we aren’t really in a position to offer you support on 2.0. What we can do is offer you the last release of version 2 (2.0.11) from which you can complete the upgrade to the latest version 3 release, a much smoother process than the one you just completed. Once you’re there, we’d be happy to do whatever we can to make sure you’re back in business.
Also, in looking over your calendar, I noticed that the single event listings weren’t resolving. It might help you to flush your permalinks to get that settled.
Thanks for being a loyal TEC user!
