ParticipantI get this error message when I go to the calendar page or try to leave it. The Google Maps API server rejected your request. The “sensor” parameter specified in the request must be set to either “true” or “false”.
Thanks

ParticipantHi there,
I haven’t been able to replicate this. Are all of your location fields filled in for events that have an associated map?-Chris

ParticipantHi, folks. Sorry to hear that you’re still having this issue. I was able to see the behavior you’re referencing by going to Thomas’s site.
It looks like this is an issue that other people are experiencing with the API, as shown in this thread on the Google forums. On the other hand, if it were something wrong with our code, I’d expect all of our users to see this problem.
Have you tried switching to TwentyTwelve with all other plugins disabled? If so, does that resolve the issue?
I’m thinking this may have something to do with a conflict with some other plugin or theme that’s installed.
Thanks!

ParticipantI have solved it !

ParticipantThat’s great news. Thanks for updating us, Thomas.
@Chris, can you try out that solution and see if it works for you? Thanks!

ParticipantWait can anyone explain specifically what I need to do to fix this?

ParticipantHi, mikeymccoy. It sounds like the issue comes from a modification you’ve made to your functions.php file. Could this be the case?

Participant@Kelly. I have no idea. Just want to know what I need to do to fix it. Sounds like Thomas found a solution but not sure what steps he took to resolve the issue. Any advice?

ParticipantAs I understand it, mikeymccoy, it sounds like it’s something to do with an issue in your functions.php file. If you try reverting to the default functions.php for your theme (after backing up your existing one!), do you still ge the error? That might put you on the right track.
Good luck!

ParticipantYou know, mikeymccoy. If you wouldn’t mind trying something else, I’m guessing another option would be to disable your plugins one by one until the API error goes away, and then, enabling them until you determine which is the culprit (if it is a plugin conflict).
If that doesn’t yield results, please try reverting to default Twenty Twelve. It’s almost certainly a conflict somewhere, it’s just a question of figuring out what.

ParticipantSo I disabled every single plugin except these two and no success. So wondering if you may be able to help with a resolution or what provide a refund. Cheers Michael

ParticipantHi, Michael. Thanks for checking on the plugin side. I’m sorry that didn’t resolve it for you.
Were you able to try with Twenty Twelve theme in place? Did that make a difference?
