    I originally started this thread and what I found to be the cause was code I put into my themes functions.php file. I added a bit of code to “remove query strings from static resources”. This type behavior might also happen from a “caching plug-in” such as WP3 Total Cache, WP Super Cache, etc. If you have one of those plugins deactivate it>clear your browsers cache by hitting Ctrl and F5 several about 4 times then try. If you still get the error SAVE your current themes functions.php file and replace it with the original functions.php came with the theme. Again clear your browsers cache a few times. This should clear the problem. Hope this helps!
