Different Versions of EC and ECPro

in The video they say that both versions should match, I just downloaded both and the versions do not match. Is this an issue with any functionality?

EC – Version 3.0.3
ECPro – Version 3.0.5

Hi, islandjim. Thanks so much for watching the videos and checking back with us about inconsistencies. We really appreciate having this kind of conversation with our user community.

In the rush to get bug fixes out after our initial 3.0 release, the version numbers for our various products have, indeed, gotten a bit out of whack. That’s definitely our fault, but we decided it was preferable to leaving some of these issues unresolved until our next scheduled maintenance release.

Now, that upcoming release is almost upon us–it should be out in a matter of days. Once that’s gone out the door, we should be back to consistent version number across all the Events Calendar family of plugins/add-ons.

So, it’s okay for now to use the mismatched versions and no functionality wil be lost? (I, too, watched that great video and am following it frame by frame!)
Shall I also assume that I should watch for the upgrade for regular Events and be sure to update?
