ParticipantI’m sorry to hear that, Michael. It sounds like you may have bigger issues at work here.
Would you mind starting a new thread? Then we can take things one step at a time.
Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Mallen. Thanks for the credentials. I was able to log in to your site.
It looks like the issue is that you have not yet upgraded the ECP plugin. To do this, please follow the steps in our FAQ here: https://tri.be/faqs/how-do-i-update-events-calendar-pro-when-a-new-version-comes-out/
If you have problems with upgrading that way, you can upgrade manually by going to your downloads page here: https://tri.be/my-account/downloads/ and uploading the zip that you download from there. Be aware that you’ll need to rename the old directory or you may get an error that it can’t overwrite it.
Please let us know how it goes!

ParticipantHi, paliradu. Thanks so much for doing some digging before posting. We really appreciate it.
For now, what we’ll need you to do is select a time zone listed under “UTC: Manual Offsets”. If what you’re aiming for is UTC, then you would probably select UTC+0 (assuming standard time/no summer time offset). You would need to remember to change the time zone for any switch that would happen automatically in a named time zone.
As far as getting a patch out there, we’ve been having trouble getting responses from Eventbrite, but rest assured, this is something that we will get to the bottom of. When we do release a patch, you’ll be able to read about it in the release notes for the upgrade.

ParticipantI’m sorry that didn’t work, conwin. Let’s take this one step at a time.
For defeating the emails being sent, please try using this snippet: http://pastebin.com/WgnUYJwV
Let me know how it works. If that’s taken care of, we can move on to removing the text. If not, we’ll continue trying to track this first piece down.

ParticipantHello, again, Alex. Thanks for getting in touch with all your questions and keeping them in separate threads. We really appreciate that.
Unfortunately, we have heard from many users who have issues with both WPML and qTranslate, and for many plugins beyond ours. I don’t know of another plugin that would offer your visitors a similar experience.
If you do find a similar plugin that seems more stable, we’d be very eager to hear about it.

ParticipantHi, Alex. I definitely see what you’re getting at.
Unfortunately, WooCommerce Tickets does not offer any additional data collection for the tickets, but I believe that there are third-party developers that have a solution for that in the checkout process. Do you think that might be a solution for you?

ParticipantHi, alexbenjamin. I’m sorry you’re experiencing this issue.
It sounds like you’re being hit with an known bug. Would you mind trying the steps suggested in this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/woocommerce-shop-not-working/ ?
Hopefully, that will get you squared away for the time being. We expect to have it fixed permanently in an upcoming maintenance relase.

ParticipantHi, artesans. Thanks for getting in touch about integrating WooCommerce Tickets and ECP with your beautiful website.
We can definitely help you get WooCommerce Related Products and such on the event page. As it happens, there will be an enhancement in our next release (due out in a matter of days) that will make this infinitely easier to tackle. Do you think you could wait until the middle of next week for a fix?
Kelly
ParticipantNo problem, Alexander. You English is excellent, and certainly much better than my German!
I’m still a little confused by your description. Would it be possible for you to post some screenshots of your event creation page, especially the Tickets section. That will probably help me get a better idea of where you’re at with the installation process.
Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, corymc. Thanks for asking about this.
I definitely hear your frustration about having to create tickets from scratch every time. Right now, we don’t have any infrastructure set up to create ticket templates for use in the way you describe. So, unfortunately, I don’t know of a way to accomplish this.
This is a great idea though, and one that I think many of our users would value. If you have time, I’d like to encourage you to make a suggestion on our User Voice page: https://tribe.uservoice.com/. We prioritize new features based on the feedback they receive, so that would be a great way to get your idea into the product.

ParticipantHi, magisterludi. Welcome to the Modern Tribe community!
I’m glad that you were able to get the Events Calendar installed with the PRO add-on. That means you’re on the right track, for sure. I’m also glad to see that you have the latest version of WooCommerce installed. Many users forget about that.
If you wouldn’t mind, I’d like to have you check out our Primer for WooCommerce Tickets:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/wootickets-new-user-primer/This will walk you through everything from initial installation to creating your first ticket.
I’ll leave open this thread, so if you get stuck along the way, just drop a note here and we’ll see what we can do to get you sorted out.

ParticipantHi, aldentecooking. From the looks of it, you’re good to go.
I’m going to close this thread for now. Please start a new topic if there’s anything else we can do to help.

ParticipantHi, atxchristian. I’m sorry to here you’re having issues with Eventbrite.
I’m a little unclear, but from your post, it sounds like you’re having issues configuring your account on Eventbrite.com. If that’s the case, they have a nice tutorial on setting up Google Checkout: http://help.eventbrite.com/customer/en_us/portal/articles/426291-use-google-checkout-to-process-orders. I’ve also found that their phone support is top notch and very responsive.
If there’s something I’m missing, and you’re having issue with the Eventbrite Tickets add-on, please let me know what error you’re seeing, and we’ll work to get to the bottom of it.

ParticipantHi, howardpw. We’re happy to help.
Your best bet with regards to customization is to check out the Themer’s Guide, linked in the right sidebar. The files you’ll want to check out are email.php in The Events Calendar and tickets.php under WooCommerce Tickets.
That should get you started. Let us know if you have any specific questions that come up along the way!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, aasales. Thanks for getting in touch with us about this functionality.
The WooCommerce Tickets add-on is basically the link that connects The Events Calendar to the WooCommerce platform. In your case, I think the functionality you’re after resides in the WooCommerce engine itself. In this case, your best bet would be to get in touch with the Woo Ninjas and ask them if this is a customization that you’d be able to implement.
I’m sorry I can’t be of more help to you. If you do find out, we’d appreciate you letting us know here so that other users can benefit from your experience.
Thanks for being a TEC user!
