    Hi!
This issue was mentioned on these forums before, but I did not find a solution so I am starting a new thread.

Both with importing event from Eventbrite and with creating new event (to be exported and linked to Eventbrite) I get an error:
“The following Eventbrite error has occurred: Invalid time zone. Please consult our list of supported timezones.”

I understand this is error caused by Eventbrite API update. I need to know when a patch for this is going to be available. I found one suggestion to change time zone to different than UTC, but as our site is in UK, it needs to be in UTC, otherwise all times on website would be wrong. As this bug causes whole eventbrite integration not to work for any UK website at the moment, I need to know if patch would be released quickly, or if there is any other solution I can use right now.

    Thanks much.

Hi, paliradu. Thanks so much for doing some digging before posting. We really appreciate it.

For now, what we’ll need you to do is select a time zone listed under “UTC: Manual Offsets”. If what you’re aiming for is UTC, then you would probably select UTC+0 (assuming standard time/no summer time offset). You would need to remember to change the time zone for any switch that would happen automatically in a named time zone.

As far as getting a patch out there, we’ve been having trouble getting responses from Eventbrite, but rest assured, this is something that we will get to the bottom of. When we do release a patch, you’ll be able to read about it in the release notes for the upgrade.
