MemberGreat. For the benefit of anyone else coming across this thread default permalinks, such as:
http://example.com?post_type=tribe_events&post=4301
(Note the section starting with a question mark, ?post_type=tribe_events&post=4301) do not work well with The Events Calendar. Instead you should use “pretty” permalinks such as:
http://example.com/event/my-special-event
You can learn more about enabling this over at the WordPress Codex: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks
(Stefan – since it looks like you’re all sorted here I’ll go ahead and close this thread. Thanks!)
Barry
MemberCertainly 🙂

MemberThat again sounds like a conflict; remember that once you have deactivated all other plugins and switched to a default theme you should clear your browser cache – then test again to see if the datepicker issue is resolved.
If it is, please reactivated your theme of choice and plugins one-at-a-time until you determine which (if any) were causing the conflict.
Barry
MemberGreat – and if you are able to share your final solution (in case anyone else might want the same thing) that would be fantastic!

MemberHi Hlchia,
I’m afraid I cannot point out where to make the changes – it’s not a trivial change to make and I’d encourage you to work with an experienced WordPress developer if you want to make this sort of customization (and, ideally, you would avoid direct changes to core plugin code).
Sorry we can’t do more on this occasion!
Barry
MemberNo problem at all, it’s an easy mistake to make.

MemberOK, so the start and end sale dates are both June 20 – so the ticket form will only be visible on that date. Since today is June 17 that is why you cannot see it.
In other words, if you want the tickets to be available for sale now then the start date/time should be the current date and time or earlier.
Does that help/make sense?
Barry
MemberThanks – hwoever that looks like your order receipt.
What I would like to see are the ticket settings such as the ticket name, SKU, dates to start and stop selling, the ticket price, etc.
These can be found by opening the event in the event editor and editing the ticket. Does that clarify things?
Barry
MemberCould you share a screenshot of your ticket settings (from the event editor)? Particularly the start and end dates for selling tickets and the surrounding fields.
Since you cannot upload images to the forum please share them using a service such as droplr.com (or even upload via your WordPress site) and share the link instead.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberNo problem, a lot will hinge on the answer since my suspicion is that what we’re seeing there isn’t a result of our own code as such (though the developers code is probably building on top of our stuff).
If you need anything else feel free to update this thread – I’ll leave it open for a week or so to give you a good chance to get in touch with the developer.
Barry
MemberWe might be talking at cross purposes here slightly 🙂
What I mean is, the list you are referring to is displaying on your front page. It doesn’t look to me like the output of one of our widgets (and in fact the source HTML doesn’t follow the same pattern as widgets in your sidebar), though I could definitely be wrong about that – and so I wondered by what means you were embedding the events on the front page.
Barry
MemberThanks for answering Alan, Annette 🙂
Did you have a chance to follow up with further testing against a default theme / do you need further support here?
Barry
MemberI’ll go ahead and close this as right now there isn’t much more we can do.

MemberSince I haven’t heard back from you I’m guessing you got in touch with Leah and are now content – so I’ll close this thread – but if you need further help of course feel free to create a new thread.

MemberI’ll go ahead and close this since there isn’t much else we can do here. Again please create an entry on UserVoice (and for anyone else who supports this / wants to see this please show your support there, as that provides us with an additional guage of how much demand their might be).
