MemberOK, and can you confirm how that list is being generated? For example, is it by one of our own widgets/some custom code of your own?
Barry
MemberNot a lame question at all, but can you provide an example/share some screenshots (you can use our private reply feature if you like)? I’m not sure I can see what you are referring to on your homepage.

MemberHmm, well unfortunately I can’t see any particularly straightforward ways to do this. Some possible options you could look into though include:
– Outright replacing the tickets meta box (unregister the existing one and register your own near-duplicate version without the SKU fields), though this is quite involved
– Using some Javascript magic to hide or remove the table row containing both the input and the label
– Hiding the field with CSS … note that the “SKU:” label would currently be quite hard to target though
Sorry we can’t do more. I’m not really confident that hiding the SKU fields is something many people would need, but even so you could definitely make a feature request for this – even just a request that hiding it be made easier – by posting on our UserVoice page:

Sorry we can’t do more!

MemberHi Gordon,
It’s possible to add post tags to events – please see the following FAQ entry:
https://tri.be/faqs/is-there-a-way-to-add-tags-to-events/
You’ll be pleased to know that tags are going to be available for use with events by default in our forthcoming 3.0 release 🙂

MemberHi jaxxnux – I have already replied: can you run through the recommended steps and report back?
To avoid any further frustration, please note that we aim to respond within 24hrs during normal working hours (typically Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Pacific/UTC-8) though those times can vary as the team is spread across a number of different countries.
Generally speaking we can provide a faster turnaround within the working week – but we don’t guarantee it 🙂
Again, can you run through the steps recommended in my last post and see if that gets us any further?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi Jim,
It looks as though some custom CSS rules have been added to the following stylesheet (which is part of your theme):
themes/eprom_1_1_0/styles/dark.css
In particular this piece of code (around line 1597) is making each nav menu item much wider than it should be – it’s probably intended to target something else but is not sufficiently specific:
.events-list li {
margin: 0;
position: relative;
margin-bottom: 1px;
background: transparent url(img_dark/opacity50.png) left top repeat;
min-height: 64px;
width: 100%;
}So you will probably need to adapt that (remember that .events-list is applied to the body element and so this basically targets all list items on the page.

MemberYou definitely shouldn’t be seeing results from other custom post types nor should you see an invalid post type error. That makes me think there is some sort of conflict with your theme, a plugin or perhaps a combination of those. Can you try running through the following steps?
1. Please ensure that your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date and in-synch … for instance if you are using The Events Calendar 2.0.11 you must also use Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11
2. Deactivate all other plugins and change your theme to a default, unmodified one such as Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve
3. Now test to see if the problem still exists
4. If the problem has been solved by these steps, start reactivating everything one-at-a-time, testing at each point to see if the issue has returned
5. If the issue does return, take note of whichever plugin (or theme) you reactivated immediately before it started again – it’s likely there is a conflict with this item

MemberHi jaxxnux,
That’s unusual and I suspect may result from a conflict with your theme, another plugin or a combination of those. Can you try running through the following steps?

2. Deactivate all other plugins and change your theme to a default, unmodified one such as Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve

5. If the issue does return, take note of whichever plugin (or theme) you reactivated immediately before it started again – it’s likely there is a conflict with this item
Does that help?
Barry
MemberNo problem, glad you’re all sorted 🙂

MemberHi Jim, unfortunately I’m not sure there is currently a convenient way of copying and pasting events as ‘plain text’ data. If you are familiar with SQL though you could probably build a custom query to accomplish this.

MemberYeah there seems to have been a few changes in Genesis 1.9.x which would mean those instructions don’t quite fit perfectly. I’ll make a note and see if we can revise that tutorial sometime soon 🙂
Sorry for the inconvenience!
