Hi, I apologize if this is a lame newbie question. I finally got a recurring event to work correctly on the calendar, but now my home page shows three months of the event. Seems like there should be a way to limit how many are shown? Or does that just clear up when there are a bunch more events?
Not a lame question at all, but can you provide an example/share some screenshots (you can use our private reply feature if you like)? I’m not sure I can see what you are referring to on your homepage.
OK, and can you confirm how that list is being generated? For example, is it by one of our own widgets/some custom code of your own?

What I mean is, the list you are referring to is displaying on your front page. It doesn’t look to me like the output of one of our widgets (and in fact the source HTML doesn’t follow the same pattern as widgets in your sidebar), though I could definitely be wrong about that – and so I wondered by what means you were embedding the events on the front page.
No problem, a lot will hinge on the answer since my suspicion is that what we’re seeing there isn’t a result of our own code as such (though the developers code is probably building on top of our stuff).
If you need anything else feel free to update this thread – I’ll leave it open for a week or so to give you a good chance to get in touch with the developer.
Hi Barry, Got this question from the dev: “Is there a setting to configure the recurring events to be displayed at a point of time. Something like hiding the duplicate recurring event?” All he had for me was limiting the number of events that show up on the home page which doesn’t solve the problem of showing a dozen of the recurring event!
I don’t believe any of the built-in settings are going to help here – all I can really suggest (particularly since this still seems to relate to a custom piece of work, rather than a view generated by the plugin itself) is building a custom query to extract exactly the information that is required to fit your needs.
