MemberOne other thing I would also be interested in is: can you access the drafts from the main list of events and then approve them that way? Again, I appreciate that even if you can do that it isn’t necessarily ideal and nor would it be a long term solution, but it would be useful to know if this is possible in your case or not.
Barry
Member… One thing to try in the interim is visiting Events > Settings > Community – adjust the Default Status for Submitted Events setting to Pending Review … does that help here?
Though I appreciate even if that solves the basic problem it may leave a number of events stranded in draft limbo it would be interesting to know the result of this.

MemberOK: what I’m going to do is seek support from one of the development team as, in honesty, I have no idea why this would happen – it’s certainly the first time I have seen it reported.
Please bear with me and I (or another team member) will update you as soon as they can.

MemberExcellent, and thank you both for reporting back with fixes that will likely be useful for others here.
I hope all else is plain sailing 🙂

MemberSo some rules in your theme’s stylesheet seem to be disrupting the “natural” layout of that control. You could add a few rules to workaround this – the bottom of your theme’s stylesheet would be as good a position as any.
Try adding:
td.woocommerce div.quantity input.minus,
td.woocommerce div.quantity input.plus {
float: right;
margin-bottom: 4px;
position: static;
}Does that get you closer to a working solution?
Barry
MemberThat’s definitely a valid point. I don’t believe that is possible – at least not without a tweak or two – but let me touch base with the team on this one. If it out-and-out isn’t possible I don’t see why we couldn’t get it in place for a future version.

MemberYou should be able to have any number of tickets per page (and we tested it with a great deal more than just 4) … so something else would seem to be at fault here.
Have you customized your events/single.php template at all? If so, can you share the code (via a service like Pastebin or Gist)? If not, can you share a screenshot showing the settings for at least one of the errant tickets (so I can see information like stock, date to start selling and date to stop selling tickets, etc)?
Thanks!

MemberIf I understand you correctly, then no, events aren’t displaying in WooCommerce catalog view.
Right, I think I misunderstood you 🙂
So as described above you can set the catalog visiblity for tickets in the product editor. Is that not working for you?
Barry
MemberThe other issue is that when the product is added to the cart, it doesn’t register as a “digital” product
In WooTickets 1.0.1 and earlier tickets are simple, shipped products by default. You might be able to use the approach outlined here to workaround this and there may be other approaches described elsewhere in the forum.
Is there a way to make it display 1 by default like the rest of the catalogue does?
Yes, you could override and edit the tickets.php template and change the parameters of woocommerce_quantity_input() – I believe there is an example of this on the forum.
Is it possible for there to be a link that shows up on the bottom of each event listing on the main events list that says “Click here to purchase tickets” and sends people to the product page, or something to that effect?
Yes, you can do anything you like with some customization 🙂
The approach outlined here isn’t exactly what you are trying to do but it’s close and can be modified to suit. Again I believe there are various other posts in the forum showing other methods that can also be used to do this sort of thing.
I hope that helps!

MemberHi flaviarusso,
Unfortunately it seems I need a username/password to view that form. What I’m thinking, though, is that this simply must be a conflict with another plugin or with your theme.
When you opened this thread you noted that you had tried both deactivating other plugins and switching to a default theme: did following these steps allow you to narrow this down either to a conflict with your theme or with a specific plugin?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi hc2ca,
Like Jonah I am unable to replicate this. Can you confirm that:
* As well as deactivating other (non-Modern Tribe) plugins you reverted to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve
* Does this also happen with newly submitted events, or just events submitted before updating?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberCan you confirm which versions of The Events Calendar you are using?
If for instance you are using WooTickets 1.0.1 then you should also use The Events Calendar 2.0.11. Alternatively, if you are using The Events Calendar 3.0.1 then you ought to use WooTickets 3.0.
Does that help?
Barry
MemberHi Mike,
Do you mean you are getting a processing error during your time on the PayPal site, or when you return to your own site? Are you using sandbox mode or anything like that?
Also, does the same problem manifest itself with a regular (non-WooTickets) product? That would definitely be worth of testing.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberIs there a way to show the Products or Events rather than the Tickets?
Almost anything is possible; but is showing events (since the ticket form displays by default on the event page) not already what you are experiencing?
For your other questions, you might be interested in Events Calendar PRO which allows for the creation of additional fields of various types. In terms of using full state names I would imagine that is possible now – but please do create a separate thread (in the Events Calendar PRO forum, ideally) for that and one of the team will at least be able to prod you in the right direction 🙂
